My new piece in @MusebyClio offers tips on saving your “killed” ideas. musebycl.io/musings/ideas-ne… – at Virginia, USA
I sat at a table beside Patrick Stewart one night at a restaurant in Los Angeles. As a lifelong RSC fan (and TNG fan) I was officially star struck. I just listened to…that…amazing…voice.
At the end of the night he stood up and his bag fell under my wife’s seat. She helped get it for him, and he kindly thanked her. I worked up my courage to say “I am a big fan, and you, sir, are a treasure. Thank you.”
The answer is “me.”
Pro user. Work in advertising. Float between writing apps, design apps, AI and the rest. Plus: I do a TON of internet research. A touch screen MBPro that gives me everything I love about the power of my laptop plus the convenience of my iPad Pro is a win.

Additional @apple pet peeve: every review (for everything) says in a negative tone “oh it fingerprints badly.” What’s wrong with you people?! Have you never worn glasses or sunglasses?! You use your windshield wiper fluid without complaint. Wipe the thing down and move on!
Not really buying the hot takes saying Apple has done something disastrous by bringing touch to the MBPro. I’m a forever Pro user, and switch my laptop for my iPad and iPhone all day long for work. They’ve trained me to use touch, so I always reach for my screen on my MBPro.
So I welcome the addition. No, it’s not ideal for every single function, and it’s great to have the touchpad for inputs on all that stuff. But for all the things I’ve “without thinking” reached to my screen for in the last few years, this seems awesome. @Apple
With the Magic Kingdom expansion including Piston Peak and Villain’s Land, I’m curious: will the Utilidors be expanding, too, to serve these areas? @WaltDisneyWorld @DisneyParks #Disney #disneyworld
I listened to the “throwaway” bonus tracks on @PaulMcCartney’s new album. They are all fantastic. It’s amazing how you can hear every phase of his career. We are so lucky to still have him being himself, as always.
Apple’s new watch recording system with 15 second rewind of conversations will make couple’s arguments more spectacular.
The airplane is playing the jazz piano version of Sweet Child O’Mine over the loudspeakers and, yeah, no.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie is wonderful throwback fun. Loved it. A fun ride, with a lot of heart.
Some nights you just dim the lights and put on “Automatic for the People” good and loud and disappear in the beautiful sound and mood of it all.
Sweetness Follows…Nightswimming…Find the River… what an incredibly moving piece of work. A masterpiece, @remhq @m_millsey
Regardless of what you think about the Mandalorian & Grogu, @BurgerKing’s willingness to alter their famous tagline for the movie is a simple change, done well. Many teams would have said “you can’t touch the tag.” This usage is simple and inspired.
