You could clearly tell that Gabby was clearly hobbled for most of the finals after that incident in game 1 and still battled through it for 6.5 more games. Champion at heart and now a champion on the court ♥️

Angel mainly had success in this series in transition + turnover opportunities. The Valks found answers for that after game 3. Had Karl forced it, it would’ve looked like game 4/5.
Each of the four main Dream players have had good AND horrible games in this series.

Let me say this. Gabby did what ‘superstars’ do. It’s cute having a deep bench or multiple all stars but at some point you need a bitch that flat out refuses to lose. She did everything she could. Made all the big shots and big plays.

Valks had to beat every team here for a championship 😭😭😭
sheesh
Angel Reese on playing the mental game vs. the Valkyries, via @kendra__andrews:
“You can see it in their emotions and facial expressions. A lot of us are looking at that, making sure we can find any little thing to give us that edge and have our leverage over them.”
