Sailing ships return - this is a real photo of a modern cargo ship.
In trials until the end of August, the Canopy ship has spread its four wings, giving it a sailboat's appearance by their height of nearly 50 meters above the sea.
Called "Oceanwings", they reduce the fuel consumption of the ship, which will carry the elements of Ariane 6 between continental Europe and French Guiana.
Depending on the conditions, these wings will be able to provide 15 to 40% of the ship's needs, thus reducing its CO2 emissions.
