"The mayor is being very dishonest with voters right now. One, it is flatly not true. Number two, legislation prohibits that. It's not even allowed." Toronto mayoral candidate @BradMBradford fires back at the Olivia Chow campaign's claims he would privatize municipal water.

Torontonians have told us that traffic and congestion is a major quality of life issue. Not only does it rob people of time with friends and family, it stifles the city’s economic development. We need a new Mayor and Council who will get Toronto moving. Choose change on October 26. #TOpoli

Statement from A Better City Toronto on the new Mainstreet poll
Bradford within 2.5 points of Chow
A new Mainstreet Research poll has Brad Bradford just 2.5 points behind Olivia Chow, which is within the margin of error. One in ten voters still haven’t made up their mind, and there are 18 days left.
This race is up for grabs. If you want a different direction for our city, now is the time to choose change.
The poll asked people about getting around the city, and the answers won’t surprise anyone who lives here. Eighty-five per cent said traffic is a serious problem. More than half of drivers got stuck in traffic for over an hour on at least two trips last week.
People aren’t happy with the TTC either. Almost half said it’s unreliable, and only 9% said it’s very reliable. Three out of four riders had at least one trip run 10 or more minutes late last week.
This is impacting residents' day-to-day lives. Sixty per cent of Torontonians that drove or took transit were late for work, school or an appointment at least once in the past week because of congestion or a TTC delay. Not only does that cost people both productive and personal time, it has a negative effect on the city’s economy, and it has only gotten worse under Olivia Chow.
Bradford has committed to getting Toronto moving, and he’s the only candidate with a real plan to do it.
Torontonians can keep sitting in traffic and waiting for a streetcar, or they can vote for a mayor who’ll work to get them from A to B without endless delays.
Today, A Better City Toronto is endorsing @BradMBradford Mayor.
He is the candidate that brings Liberals, Conservatives, and moderates together. His clear eyed view on the issues facing the city, and his solutions for fixing them is what Toronto desperately needs.
Our city cannot sustain four more years of continued decline. Join us in voting for Bradford to make Toronto a better city.

Toronto’s decline is a choice. We don’t have to choose a city that is unaffordable, that squeezes your wallet whether you’re a shift worker or a business owner.
Choose change at advance polls and on October 26. #TOpoli

While Mayor Chow spent her morning glad handing transit riders and talking about free rides on the TTC, most Torontonians wondered if they’d encounter open air drug use and violence on their ride to work. We don’t have to accept decline. Choose change on October 26. abctoronto.org

At the Daily Bread Food Bank debate last night, Olivia Chow said Toronto was living up to its potential.
Here are the numbers that show otherwise.
Toronto has great potential. We aren’t living up to it.

During the first Mayoral debate, Mayor Chow failed to present a plan that would bring the generational change that Toronto desperately needs. We don’t believe the status quo - sitting in gridlock, struggling to get by, and feeling unsafe in your communities - is acceptable. Choose change on October 26.
Only if everyone makes a plan to vote for change at City Hall. 👇
