About last night. Yesterday evening I played a benefit show for @able2uk - a disabled rights / access group set up by my friend Howard. The show was fun (and I got to meet some folks off the telly!) but the highlight was Howard.

This is...I just can't think of polite comments. Here in the Midlands a terminally ill woman has been told her complex needs son will be moved from the home he lives, away from his friends, to a nursing home after she dies. Right at the time he'll need his friends.

This is disgusting from EasyJet. I phoned their special assistance line, as my husband is a disabled veteran & they wouldn't help as he wasn't in a wheelchair.I tweeted my anger & eventually a senior manager phoned & sorted. Wrong you have to prove disability.
