Calling people 'slaves' because they understand basic public arithmetic isn't smart, it's just financial illiteracy.
Declaring education 'free' without a sustainable funding mechanism is how Nigeria ended up with years of university strikes, broken labs, and dilapidated schools. Education requires trillions of Naira annually for salaries, infrastructure, and research.
Even in developed nations in Europe where tuition is subsidized by the government, higher education is funded through high income tax rates (40% to 50%+) paid by every working citizen—not through oil handouts.
Governance is not sports betting, where people place cheap wagers on superficial outcomes and expect quick wins.
Rebuilding a nation whose core structural foundations have been systematically corrupted by decades of reckless subsidies, on everything from petrol to foreign exchange and underfunded public infrastructure—is a massive economic undertaking.
Decades of artificial living pushed Nigeria to the brink of fiscal collapse. Moving from populist illusions to lasting stability requires courageous, deep-thinking, and economically savvy leadership.
Populists treat national economic management like a high-stakes gamble, telling citizens what they want to hear, promising free everything without showing a single mathematical model of where the funds will come from.
Show us how Nigeria would fund free education!

There is no point in explaining any economic reform of the president to the common man when a youth leader with nothing upstairs, an empty barrel, can confidently come online to display brand-new cars for his boys.
What a foolish guy with no sense of awareness or emotional intelligence. And I also blame the weak opposition for his rascality, maybe if they had active youth leaders he could have learnt one or two things from them.
The country is struggling to increase the minimum wage, fund salaries for health workers, soldiers, lecturers, and students; businesses are groaning under high lending rates; but this airhead who can't articulate his impact on the people feels it's the right time to post luxury cars for some random nonentities.
We give struggling students loans, then splash N150m on cars for youth leaders and flaunt it in their faces. What is this guy's input in the party? All he does is fly private jets, sleep in hotels and flaunt his lavish lifestyle in the faces of struggling Nigerians.
He doesn't join spaces, you won't see him on TV speaking to the party manifesto, he does nothing.
I implore all the sensible youths in the party to sign a petition for the APC Youth Leader's resignation. The cars should be retrieved and sold and the money, wherever it came from, channeled to either Nelfund or the Basic Health Provision Fund.
I need someone to create the petition link, we need to get this dunce out of that office. His brain has migrated to his protruding stomach. Absolute nonsense...

Knew United players were gonna down tools once Carrick rolled out the red carpet for a player who couldn't be arsed to train properly & who spoke derogatorily about United on loan. You can't ask players to be committed & work hard while gladly welcoming Rashford.Consequences.
Bringing Marcus Rashford back to the team, to displace cuhna etc who rescued the team last season, was Michael Carrick's undoing. Marcus is a poisoned chalice. Should never have returned to that dressing room. Never.

WORST? COMPARED TO WHAT?
Branding an entire generation of supporters as "Worst" is, to me, not only overreaching but ignoble - one I did not expect a woman of your age and experience to deploy. There are extreme paths responsible elders must resist travelling, and this is one of them. There are cliffs elders must not leap from, ma, I insist, this is one of them.
This is a brand of supporters who have stayed dedicated to the vision since 1999, recruiting millions more as the seasons evolved - many of whom were not yet born when Asiwaju was governor, had not yet matured into political consciousness at that time, or simply belonged to a different political philosophy.
And "Worst" compared to whom? The Obidients? Certainly not. The Elite Buharists? Definitely not.
This same brand of supporters, in 2022/2023, walked through fire and did not become ash. They survived:
The ravenous Obidients;
Dangerous religious bigotry;
Evil machinations by elements in the Villa - the snake that bites from inside one's own barn;
The demonic twin policies of Cash and Fuel scarcity, designed to break the will of the common man;
The painful betrayal by their mentor's most trusted allies, associates and proteges - those who ate from the same plate, yet plotted at the same table;
And the back-stabbing from your kind - Elite Buharists - with whom we once locked shields to defend the honour of the late President Buhari, shortcomings and all, expecting neither reward nor thanks.
Yet this same league of loyal and principled supporters surmounted every hurdle, escaped every trap, and emerged from the battles within and without unscathed - to deliver their candidate to a well-deserved victory.
Are these the same ones you now brand "Worst"?
Perhaps the word you reached for was Resilient. For in three short years, this same league has pushed every adversary - including your kind, once comrades, now merely echoes - to the far edges of relevance, where your wailing lands like rain on a tin roof: loud, but leaving nothing behind.
And what "problems" do you speak of, ma? If you imagined Asiwaju was owed a second term served on a silver platter, untouched by rivalry or resistance, then I fear your many years have not necessarily brought the exposure to history one would expect.
Even the great Awolowo - visionary of visionaries - never tasted such uncontested dominance, not even within the Western Region he built with his own hands. His rivalry with Penkelemess is well documented, as is his agonizing conflict with Akintola.
Need I remind you, ma: we practice democracy, not monarchy. Ifá does not crown a President - the ballot does. And as with every election in a mature democracy, the road to power is never a straight path free of thorns. Not even Buhari, the Golden Star of the North to whom you gave your whole devotion, walked a race without contest. We were the soldiers who bled on that battleground Ma.
Finally, I implore you, ma: as you once backed the student against his own teacher and returned home with empty hands, you may well repeat that journey - backing the Kleptocrat and perennial contender against the Visionary.
Your right to choose wrongly will always be respected - but leave the Progressives to walk their path, and mind your own footing.
Good morning Severally.

I see some suggestions that everyone is ‘obsessed’ about Peter Obi because we are always talking about him. I am sorry, but they miss the point. When someone lies per second, you also have to fact-check him per second. He got away with the lies in 2023, but this time Nigerians are ready to fact-check every claim of the ‘yes-daddy’ man.
Therefore, to put it simply, the amount of time we talk about Peter Obi is directly proportional to the amount of lies he tells.
🤣🤣🤣🤣....you've lost it.
To assist the hundreds, maybe thousands, of #Nigerians and reporters who plan to follow the Nigerian Presidency’s (@officialABAT) @renoomokri
call for Nigerians to email the U.S. Embassy to verify whether Nigerian President Bola #Tinubu has ever been criminally investigated, we have taken the liberty of drafting the questions that you need to ask the Embassy. Simply copy and paste.
Dear U.S. Embassy in Nigeria,
I am emailing you today because the Nigerian Presidency, through its Ambassador, has requested that Nigerians and reporters email the U.S. Embassy to inquire about whether President Bola Tinubu was ever investigated by the FBI and DEA. Below are the questions Nigerians are now asking.
(1) Did Michael H. Bonner, after his retirement from the U.S. government, work as a consultant/adviser for the Nigerian government under President Bola Tinubu? If so, is it commonplace for an Embassy official involved in responding to a criminal-records inquiry concerning Bola Tinubu to later work as a consultant for the same Bola Tinubu administration?
(2) Was the Embassy letter being circulated by the Nigerian Presidency as proof that President Tinubu was never criminally investigated by the FBI or DEA officially approved by the U.S. Embassy? Does the Embassy stand behind the Nigerian Presidency’s interpretation of that letter, and why does the document contain numerous spelling and grammatical errors?
(3) Does the letter actually establish that President Bola Tinubu was never investigated by the FBI or DEA, or does it merely state that an FBI/NCIC records check returned no criminal arrest records, wants, or warrants? How should that letter be reconciled with subsequent federal court records concerning FBI investigative records related to Bola Tinubu?
(4) Would an NCIC records check disclose the existence of an investigation that did not result in an NCIC arrest, wanted-person, or warrant entry?
As with millions of Nigerians, I look forward to your reply.
Clown. Youve clearly lost out as expected. You were just chasing shadows over a long closed non issue. Go get a proper job. This is lame.
We have a team tracking everything, and informed the @realDonaldTrump Administration the moment this article was published. We will never stand by and watch the Nigerian Presidency (@officialABAT) put the integrity and reputation of our beloved country and President into question.
In our opinion, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s desire to block the release of @FBI and @DEAHQ records and secure even a photo with President #Trump at the UN has become so great that the timing of these proposed economic agreements raises serious questions about appearances. Our message to the Nigerian Presidency is simple: the United States of America will not be bought with promises of mining or oil deals.

Even though I am a Catholic, but My Lordships should stay of politics. Religious leaders are supposed to be the light of the society.
Who is telling them that a candidate can win if it is free and fair or the incumbent cannot win without rigging. They should preach the Gospel more thanks.
Bloody dunderhead. The daft just campaigned for Mr. President Tinubu. This is what happens when you cram answers. You forget past answers. This man is an embarrassment to Nigerians.
Just see how low your level of reasoning is.

How else do I break this down for you and your thick people? I gave you the football analogy and it still flew right over your head. If football, a sport with no real stakes beyond bragging rights, is fierce enough that no club will help solve a rival club's crisis, what makes you think a political candidate will lift a finger for a rival party's?
Men once competed with honour, valour and spine. Today we have weaklings like your principal, crawling to the very opposition he claims to want to defeat, begging him to come and sweep his own house. How shameless can you be?
Go to the UK and ask Labour to bail out the Conservatives. Go to the US and ask the Democrats to prop up the Republicans. You won't find it, because rivals don't nurse rivals back to health.
At least, you studied Law. What you're asking is for the defense counsel to be gentle with the prosecution witness. If your principal's house is burning, that is the whole point of the contest. Nobody hands the arsonist a fire extinguisher and calls it fair play.
A ruling party that fixes its opposition is not being noble, it is being reckless, and it is insulting the very voters who worked to put it in power. You do not ask the man who won the fight to also stitch up the man he defeated. If your principal cannot organise his own party, he has no business asking anyone to vote him in order to organise a country.

The airport staff caused this, for releasing the vehicle to him without penalty as it's required of every other citizen. To the best of my knowledge, Obi holds no official position in this Country. Na una dey grant am unnecessary respect wey hin no deserve. Does that impostor even pay taxes?!!
PETER OBI MUST APOLOGISE TO AIRPORT STAFF AND PAY THE FINE FOR WRONG PARKING
As the Minister of Aviation, I felt a moral duty to investigate and authenticate the claim made by opposition candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, a few days ago that the tyres of his car were ‘unjustly’ clamped at the airport, suggesting a ‘persecution agenda’ against him by the Federal Government. Politics aside, every Nigerian is entitled to fair treatment under the law.
I therefore instituted an internal inquiry over the issue.
Luckily enough, the entire Abuja airport is covered by CCTV cameras, real-time, 24/7. But apparently, this fact was unknown to Mr. Peter Obi. Otherwise, perhaps he would have been more circumspect before rushing to the media to cry ‘persecution’.
From the recordings, these are the facts:
1. On Saturday, July 4th, 2026, Mr. Obi arrived at the domestic wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at exactly 20:28 pm, driven by a Policeman. He alighted with two other occupants and went into the terminal building.
2. The Police driver then parked the vehicle, almost blocking the entrance and came out himself and went into the terminal building too. The airport rule is that, apart from the fact that it is a drop-off zone, a driver must remain behind the wheels of the vehicle for it to be tolerated for some time within that zone. Still the vehicle tyres were not clamped.
3. The Policeman came back to the vehicle at about 20:32pm and collected something from the vehicle and went back into the building again, leaving the vehicle unattended to.
4. At this point, the dutiful airport security staff came over and clamped the tyres of the car. In doing this, contrary to the claims by Peter Obi, nobody was inside the car and so nobody knew whether it was his car (not that it should matter, anyway).
5. When the Policeman returned again and discovered the tyres were clamped, he was directed to an office and upon getting there, he called Mr. Peter Obi on his phone and gave the phone to the manager. Mr. Peter Obi then introduced himself and spoke with the manager, peddled his ‘influence’ and requested for the release of the vehicle. His vehicle was then released without him paying the necessary fine.
6. It is important to note that the time the vehicle was parked unattended to in that prohibited zone was about 30 minutes, which constitutes a security risk at an airport by global best practices.
What has emerged from this is a clear case of an opposition candidate trying to whip up unnecessary sentiments for a wrong he committed with his driver. The excuse which Mr. Peter Obi gave that there were other offenders too on that day (which is completely false) cannot be an excuse for an individual aspiring to be President of Nigeria. He must live above board.
This is a matter that was not even mentioned at all by the airport authorities and had been put to rest. But ever determined to milk any situation to score cheap political points, Mr. Peter Obi decided to go on air to render a false narrative.
Therefore, he must also face the consequences of his actions. (I have attached the CCTV footages to this statement for the public to clearly see what transpired.)
In the circumstances, consistent with the principle of equality before the law, as Minister of Aviation, I make the following demands on Mr. Peter Obi:
1. That he tenders an unreserved, public apology to those hardworking, ordinary Nigerian workers at the airport, just doing their jobs dutifully and whom he sought to blackmail as his ‘persecutors’.
2. That Mr. Peter Obi voluntarily goes back to the airport and pay the appropriate fine of N25,000 for wrongful parking at the airport for which he used ‘influence peddling’ to bully his way out on that day. He cannot be bigger than the law.
If these demands are not met within one week, I will be giving the necessary directives to the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to take the next steps against him.
