I’m so serious when I ask this. Who is making all this groundbreaking R&B and pop music that y’all keep demanding? It seems like every female artist today is supposedly outdated, generic, or uninspired. So who is this mysterious diva that’s setting the standard everybody else is failing to meet?

This is actually a great point I never thought about. That’s why you always hear people say the chemistry was off in person 🤣 had I already been around you I wouldn’t have wasted my time. People also can’t hold a conversation worth a damn it’s these phones 🤣
Snoop Dogg explained in 80 seconds why men stopped approaching women.
Do men not shoot their shot anymore because social media turned dating into a simulation?
Snoop says yes, and his reason is better than the usual “phones ruined everything” take.
In his era, getting with someone took real effort. You had to look at her, talk to her, get her to like you, and know her parents and how she moved. You had to get involved before you could get involved.
Now it’s a couple of pictures and a couple of lines, and people expect something real from a few typed words.
The part I found most interesting is his point about texting. A text gives you what he’s typing, not what he’s saying. “You look good today” can read as sweet or creepy depending on the mood of the person reading it. Text has no tone, face or feeling to go with it.
Approaching someone in person is hard on purpose. It makes you learn to read people, handle a no, and become someone worth talking to. When you skip that, you also skip what it would have taught you.
What he calls the cheat code ended up costing men the skill.

We honestly need an R rated Medusa movie. Not no Disney shit
A live-action ‘MEDUSA’ movie is officially in development at Disney.
Michael Montemayor (‘TANGLED’) is writing the first draft of the screenplay.

When she said she never really had a home and hates feeling alone, then asked him to make her feel at home…omg 😭

Chloe may have some areas she could work on, but the vitriol and backlash are ridiculously disproportionate to what she’s put out. Her project with Timbaland was good. y’all ignored it, and the moment she releases a playful Christmas song, y’all act like she makes the most horrible music in the world. There’s no winning with y’all.
& i honestly think that’s okay. We all should be able to treat ourselves to a little luxury. Trying to make women feel weird for it is actually weird in itself. It’s a truck that’s black lol

Everyone’s being purposely obtuse. If I pay you for soft glam and you later find out I got married… so??? I paid for what you did. If I now come to you complaining that the makeup didn’t last then that’s on me!

1. Colorism ISN’T exclusive to the black community
2. Colorism IS exclusive to darkskin people
3. Colorism will ALWAYS BENEFIT lightskin people and will NEVER BENEFIT dark skin people
4. Reverse colorism DOESN’T EXIST

Not to bring down the mood but we still have a shit storm coming when the worst of the Big Beautiful Bill kicks in next year. Please don’t play stupid and blame the Democrats when it happens.

And “inconvenienced at times” is for stuff like taking time out of your day to drive a friend to the airport or letting them stay at your place when they visit. Not some rando in your building taking your paid for parking spot and you just sucking it up

Acknowledging privilege based on skintone, race, gender, features, etc doesn’t mean you don’t work hard! And truly I understand the knee jerk reaction to be like I GRIND AND I WORK, but acknowledging there might be someone out there doing the same thing who might never make it to the places based on who they are doesn’t take away from the work you’ve done imo.
