It's absolutely mindblowing that the claim by Adrian Zenz that "80% of new IUDs in China were fitted in XJ" is still repeated by the media. It's been long debunked as a purposely misleading statistical sleight of hand.
Time for a recap #Thread

A reminder the U.S. & their allies kills over 560K+ people per year still, on top of multiple genocides they've committed through history, ie 90M native Americans, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, Palestine etc. Total if we use the same method used for Mao Zedong, it's ~800M people.

.@the_andrey_x and I were charged with assault, along with five other offenses. After being kept up all night and interrogated for seven hours, we finally saw a judge. He watched the footage and concluded it was clearly a one-sided attack and that we were the victims. His response was to ban us from the West Bank for two months, let the police keep my phone, and bring no charges against the settlers he had just watched attack us.
Hi, I'm free.
Beat up but fine. Police stole my phone. Settlers punched me in the face several times, likely broke @AdeleShoko's wrist and gave @the_andrey_x a concussion. They threatened to shoot us with an assault rifle over and over.
Will tell the full story later, but for now, I just want to be clear about what happened. We witnessed two settlers locking a military gate in Umm al-Khair, blocking the only way to more than twenty Palestinian communities: trapping families inside, preventing students from reaching school and workers from their jobs, blocking delivery of food and access to ambulances, etc.
It's a crime that the military has this ability at all--but last night, we discovered that random settler terrorists also have the key. We confronted them and began asking questions on camera, and they nearly murdered us for it. When the police finally arrived, they arrested Andrey and me and charged us with assault.
The gate is still locked.

Live report: “The port belongs to those who work there, and to this city."
Dockworkers at more than 110 ports in 22 countries, across five continents, are striking today against the genocide in Gaza and the arms shipments that sustain it.
In Genoa, thousands of port workers and students have joined USB's general strike. Now, after the manifestation started with burning tires in the streets and blocking the roadway to the terminals, thousands are marching through the city.
"Today we'll block everything, then march into the port, because the port is our home,” said José Nivoi of CALP.
I'll be here reporting on the ground throughout the day as things develop.
(This video has captions with the Italian roughly translated.)
LIVER FROM GENOA 🇮🇹 Alex Colston (@re_colston) reports for the @ProgIntl from the picket line, where dockers are refusing to work for war. Genoa is one of 113 ports workers have shut down across 22 countries as part of today's international day of action.

Interesting...some highly concentrated messaging on climate policy and governance coming out of China in the last two weeks. Nothing particularly novel, but the high volume in such a short period of time hints at some coordination.
In the last few years, Chinese leaders have shown growing interest in A) taking more responsibility for global climate governance, B) being seen and earning credit for taking more responsibility for climate governance, and C) seeking to redefine "responsible climate governance" along terms more fundamentally aligned with China's strengths. The likelihood of this effort's success is certainly bolstered by the U.S.'s retreat from and general disinterest in this role.
This doesn't necessarily mean a change in the type or magnitude of actions taken, just the way they are framed. Just a few years ago, it would have been tough to assert whether China had a strong opinion about being perceived as a global climate governance leader. That is no longer the case. Today, it clearly very much cares about the perception of its governance role and wants its own messaging on the subject out there, for audiences both at home and abroad.

The people who load and unload cargo ships make up a class of workers with unusual power over foreign affairs and trade. Tomorrow—in 111 ports, across 22 countries—they’re going on strike for Palestine. motherjones.com/politics/202…

12,000 dead in Iran.
These numbers are as believable as:
❌40 beheaded babies
❌10,000 dead on Tian'anmen Square
❌100,000 missing men in Kosovo
❌1 million Uyghurs in concentration camps
❌30 million killed in the Great Leap Forward
❌100 million killed by Socialism

The correct answer to this question is Soviet victory on the Eastern Front. It’s hard to think of a more consequential event than the communist destruction of Nazism. The scale of genocidal barbarity that would otherwise have ensued is almost impossible to comprehend.

Bolsonaro literally fled on a narco-traffickers plane 🥲 Between the pardon for Juan Orlando Hernandez in Honduras, refuge for Flávio from Brazil, and the close alliance with Ecuador’s Noboa, the Trump admin is proving itself to be the true ally of narco-terror in the region.

The 50 million is a vast exaggeration. The highest number in the literature is 27m, but this includes 18m because of a birthdate decline. Ie, they counted people not born yet as deaths! So we're left with 9m, which is based on an increase of the death rate to the level of India.
