I understand pets now. I’m chatting with my roommates dog all the time. Teaching her the crude basics of bachelor cooking. Filling her in on the book I’m reading. Ironing out some of my more questionable pieces of ‘life advice’. All for the treat I’ll eventually give her. Which is a reward system I, of course, understand quite well.
