He was a passionate voice for motoring and consumer rights. Quentin dedicated his life to spreading the love for cars and helped the public understand them whether they were classic combustion or modern electric. His kindness, intelligence, sharp wit and loving soul will always be missed. Rest in Peace Q, we love you.
Sad to hear of the passing of Ace Frehley. I saw him live at the old Apollo in London many years ago. And while I was never a die-hard KISS fan, I enjoyed their albums & even the Psycho Circus PC game back in the day. RIP Paul.
Just to say the government are morons. I now cannot read technical articles because all the images are hosted on IMGUR & they’ve blocked the UK because of the ridiculous digital ID crap.
It would never work for its alleged purpose & only serves to leave the UK behind. Scrap it.
Really nice to meet ”Moggy” from @elecclassiccars on Sunday & had the chance to thank him for his entertaining YT channel. He told me of his plans to update the Bug Zapper to Tesla plaid, giving it (in Spaceballs parlance) “Ludicrous Speed”
Evening @EliteDangerous fans! Nearly finished printing my Majestic Class Interdictor model at 1:1000 scale (Anaconda for comparison).
My @EliteDangerous capital ship is getting bigger, but it’s not finished yet…
My @EliteDangerous 3D printed capital ship project had stalled for the past two weeks as I was on leave and had run out of filament, but yesterday another 4Kg of PLA arrived, so the tail section will soon continue.
One quarter of the next segment. @EliteDangerous Majestic Class Interdictor. Bottle for scale.
elite-dangerous-blog.com now has all the English blueprints refreshed. Placeholders added for the new @EliteDangerous ships...
3 days of printing & I have 3 more parts, with another 5 to go to make the next hull segment of my @EliteDangerous Majestic Interdictor. This segment is 25cm (10”) long & will be around 26cm in diameter. The next piece is printing for 46 hrs.
An update to the @EliteDangerous Interdictor 3D print on elite-dangerous-blog.com
It's half there (length-ways at least)
After 4 hours work this evening I’ve nearly finished re-working most of the @EliteDangerous ship blueprints for elite-dangerous-blog.com. Once the English versions are finished, I can do the French, German & Spanish versions. An the 3D print continues…
Part six of my @EliteDangerous capital ship print finished early, so glued to part five, then fixed to the rest, 80cm long 110cm to go…
Well, elite-dangerous-blog.com is back! Now a .COM as the .co.uk was poached. And my site content stolen. But that's so January 2025 and it's now August!
Capital Ship print updates to be found there...
Continuing my @EliteDangerous Majestic Interdictor 3D print. The fifth part completed at 2am. I started part six which should finish printing at midday on Friday.
I put a coffee mug in the photo for relative scale. The reason it’s blue, red & pink is filament changes. Leftovers!
