Today amidst all that's going on in this country, my heart goes out to children seating for their PLE exams today. This is the most important bridge in the life of our children.
So I am taking off time to wish and pray for our children seating for the exams in Uganda.

My brother @otukoa1 the dollar has nothing to do with the cassava prices climbing high, but rather the poor harvests we've had in teso recently are the reason we are experiencing this.
Our Farmers have been affected by the droughts but also the poor quality of the stems.
ANY ECONOMISTS TO EXPLAIN THIS ..?
A basin of dry cassava chips in Ocorimongin Market, Katakwi District as of Friday 30th October 2026 went for Shs 100,000. (A basin is approximately 15 kgs. Meaning price per Kg is approximately Shs 7,000).
Meanwhile, in the neighboring districts of Kapelebyong, Amuria and Kumi, the same Cassava chips goes for roughly Shs 40,000 (Approximately 3,000 per Kg). Meaning the price per Kg in Katakwi is more than twice the prices in the neighboring districts.
On the other hand, beans that have been averaging at Shs 3,000 for the last 10 years are now at Shs 7,500 in the same market.

Earlier this morning I read some tweet saying Soroti fruit factory was closing @acomalobo is it true because that is too much painful 🤔😞😠 than traitors @HonEchweru . He formed his rebel group and destroyed Soroti meat packers, Dakabela radio.
Became a state minister for works and never asked government to replace this two things which could create jobs for our people. For all the years he has been in cabinet.
Judah Iscariot of Teso. Even if it was in a pipeline nothing. The railway still down yet he was a state minister for works.
Teso has endured decades of being a political dumping ground, dating back to the insurgency. Sadly, current trends suggest the same script is playing out again.
We're already battling poverty. The last thing we need is more division. Teso needs unity, not political divisions.
