Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. ā€œBibi calls Trump about it every day,ā€ says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called ā€œbattlefield nukesā€ easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

Unpublished the wrong draft, published a totally different article with new graphics… except you already told people it was from weeks ago when Drey called out the numbers. Now it's a technical unpublish, not an edit although it says edited, and somehow the comment just vanished too. These explanations keep shifting. Same energy as the rest of this manufactured mess. The circumstantial evidence keeps stacking.
This is not true. I didn't delete Drey's comment. I unpublished the article when I noticed it was the wrong version and uploaded the correct version, which was a different article with different graphics and updated numbers. It wasn't an "edit". It was an unpublish and publish of the correct version.l I've explained this. Do you just like spreading misinformation?

Candace Owens states to Leah Files that she "will keep it respectful regarding the multitude of topics that you claim to be an expert on and the things you've said publicly." Leah responds by muzzling Candace. Says "nothing outside" of the topics of Glacier, Shawn Ryan, and his investments. Oh, the irony.

I believe in independent media. We need more independent researchers and more independent voices, which is why I’ll always root for people doing this work outside the big outlets. That being said, the people doing this work have to genuinely care about the information they put out and about the people receiving it. Otherwise we’re no better than the media conglomerates people come to us to escape. The Leah Files just sent her midterm predictions to more than 41,000 subscribers, and I’m one of them. As I read through the post, I couldn’t help but notice her numbers were dramatically different from what I’d seen in the FEC filings this week. Her post is missing more than half of James Talarico’s fundraising. It ends by telling readers to look up everything on their ballot at her funding guide before they vote, and that guide says Maine’s Democratic Senate nominee ā€œhas reported raising nothingā€ when the FEC shows he’s raised $26.9 million. On top of that, her maps are missing states. New York and Rhode Island are gone, and ā€œRCā€ isn’t a real state. They also list people who aren’t on the ballot. Oklahoma says ā€œNuzzell,ā€ who isn’t running, and Florida says DeSantis, who’s term-limited. Indiana doesn’t even have a governor’s race this year, and it says ā€œBritzker.ā€ That’s especially dangerous with early voting already underway. When I asked her about it, she said it was published a few weeks ago, even though the post was only two hours old at the time. Then my note correcting her numbers was gone. And look, nobody expects any of us to be perfect. Digging through all of these files and keeping everything straight in your head is a really tough job, and I get that more than anyone. But telling your readers to use a website you made before they vote, when it’s full of outdated and wrong numbers, is where I draw the line. If independent media is going to be better than the outlets we’re pushing against, we have to get the facts right. FEC, Talarico fec.gov/data/candidate/S6TX0… FEC, Jackson fec.gov/data/candidate/S6ME0…

James Charles is a literal admitted predator & is STILL not canceled. So ya'll don't get your hopes up that Ethan Klein is gone for good. He could pop back up today, acknowledge nothing, & still have & maintain a platform, bc ya'll never hold shitty people accountable.

How about 100 Reasons not to reelect Tina Kotek 100 truthful reasons why you should not re-elect her. Strap in. 1. She set a 36,000 new housing units per year goal on day one and never came close. 2. Oregon is on track to build less housing than when she took office. 3. Homelessness exploded under her ā€œemergencyā€ declaration—up nearly 35% from ~20,100 to over 27,000. 4. Oregon ranks near the top nationally in per-capita and unsheltered homelessness. 5. She extended the homelessness emergency three times instead of solving it. 6. Billions spent on the crisis with visible tents still everywhere. 7. She’s the least popular Democratic governor in America. 8. Approval ratings in the high 30s while disapproval sits near 60%. 9. Even many of her own voters have an unfavorable view of her. 10. Failed to deliver on her top campaign promises: housing, education, behavioral health. 11. Wife Aimee Kotek Wilson was given real policy influence and staff support that triggered senior resignations. 12. Staff revolt in 2024 over nepotism, power dynamics, and state police protection for the First Lady. 13. New emails show the influence continued into 2026. 14. Business rankings cratered—CNBC dropped Oregon to the 40s. 26. Tax competitiveness ranking collapsed (Tax Foundation). 27. Companies and headquarters functions leaving or hesitating. 28. Cost of living crisis while she pushes more government. 29. Family bankruptcies and business failures climbing. 30. Prosperity Council itself had to tell her the state is not open for business. 31. Signed a massive transportation tax package. 32. Voters rejected those tax hikes 83% to 17%. 33. Signature ā€œaccomplishmentā€ got shredded by the public. 34. You couldn’t even run a lemonade stand so what makes you think you can run the state’s economy? You have proven that you bankrupt businesses and run others out of state. You are bad for Oregon.

ā€œā€¦ avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety… ā€ Bad look for @RealCandaceO and at least indirectly for @baroncoleman You guys probably should have recused yourselves from commenting on the @leahfiles & @ShawnRyan762 situation, or at the very least, a disclosure of financial interest. Both of your brands are built on credibility, and this gives ammo to your critics, and I’m going to join them in criticizing you both on this. I don’t think that is an impeachable offense, but I call balls and strikes… I’m not on a team. I’m still cheering for you both, but please address this transparently.

If investigators confirm a link between the Bend, Oregon school shooting and the 764 network, it will be the third 764-linked attack to hit Oregon since May of 2025. Read more in thread:

Headed to the ballot drop-off! +2 more votes for @ChristineDrazan & @MoniqueforOR! Look around, Oregonians. Look at our state after 40+ years of Dem rule. Drugs, crime, homelessness, & worst of all, the failure of our kids & our abysmal education system. Time for change.

NEW - Investigators in the Bend, Oregon school shooting case are reportedly probing the shooter's links to harmful online groups, including the 764 child exploitation network. According to law enforcement sources interviewed by Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB), investigators have issued subpoenas to online platforms - including Discord - to determine the extent of 16-year-old Griffin J. John II's connection to online Nihilistic Violent Extremist communities. One of the questions investigators seek to answer is whether the teen had any online co-conspirators. According to OPB, investigators have described the shooter as a "highly online and socially disaffected teen". If a 764 connection does exist, this will be the second major school incident linked to the group in the past 2 months, with the first being the toxic gas attack by a Portland high schooler in September. The FBI considers 764 and related NVE groups to be Tier 1 domestic terrorism threat, having resulted in dozens of arrests and hundreds of open investigations in the US.

Tina Kotek talking about growth 13 days out while the only things that have actually grown are taxes, government size, and the number of students failing basic skills. 4th grade reading near the bottom nationally. Maybe try growing outcomes instead of departments. Get Tina out of Oregon ā€¼ļø
Election Day is 13 days away, and today, I’m thinking about how we help every corner of Oregon continue to grow.
