Here’s my WIP too!
On Rainbow Island, in the Persian Gulf, at the Strait of Hormuz!🏝
We artists have to make a living, and I commend everyone who shares their art on collectors’ threads so that it can be seen, I do the same.
But there’s a world of difference between that and sucking up to someone to the point of almost demeaning yourself, it makes me cringe on their behalf.
Not to mention keeping quiet in the face of injustice, or, as happened to me, speaking out in protest when a group of us artists were being swindled, sorting the matter out, and then seeing those artists distance themselves from me because they didn’t want any trouble , mind you, only after they’d already been paid their share.
I suppose not even 1% of the artists in this space make a living from their art, so I don’t understand this scramble to scrape together a bit of extra cash.
If anyone feels offended, I’m sorry. It offends me even more to see certain things.
I’m closing this thread because I don’t want any drama and because, quite simply, I do whatever I like in my own space.
