The ball should be deemed ‘in play’ the moment it’s in the quadrant. You’d get rid of all of this shit immediately, and give the ref the chance to give a penalty or foul the other way straight away, instead of this mind-numbing pantomime we have to sit through every week.
Loads of good videos from yesterday, and watching them all, you notice that every pass we play as a purpose. Twelve months ago it was right right right, left left left left, right right right HOOOOOOOF, to no one. Chalk and cheese

Brilliant morning with @SeattleSpurs @eogthfc
The wingers may get some tap for ‘not doing much,’ but they kept the ball almost every time, which gave us the platform to play. If we had the likes of Richarlison or Johnson today, maybe you have more of a goal threat, but you lose the ball every time, which eventually kills you
Cannot blame a single person for being cautious, but a game like this has been coming. We’ve got more to do, but top to bottom this is the best TEAM we’ve had for years, led by all of the signings in the spine of the team. We’re on the way.
Caicedo feels like the Kingmaker in this game. Every time we try to bait the press on his side, we look likely to lose it. He’s so good at getting in front of players, it just doesn’t feel worth trying him; whenever we play away from him, we look very much in control.
The technical level of this team is as high as it’s been since 2017. Some of the patterns are brilliant. Whatever happens here, it feels like he’s finding his rhythm now with the team. It would be implausible to think we could play like this six months ago.
All FA cup gate receipts, prize, and TV money from each round should be split evenly across every team still in the competition. Easy way to trickle money down the pyramid
