Imagine letting someone sleep on your couch for free when they had nowhere to go, teaching them ecom, helping them make their first $500,000 in profit… Just for that same person to go behind your back, secretly run the same product you were partners on, and repeatedly lie to your face about it. All while living in the same house as you. This is what happened between me and someone I considered a brother for almost 3 years, Othman Jaber. I met Othman around 2.5–3 years ago. At the time, he was doing high-ticket sales for online mentorship offers, making maybe $2–3k a month, occasionally $5k. He was fascinated by what I was doing in ecom, and we eventually became really close friends. When he first came around Miami, he didn't have his own place. He was couch hopping between people's houses, including my friend J Park's. Eventually, he couldn't stay there anymore, so I let him sleep on my couch for roughly 3 months, completely free. During that time, I'd bring him around while I worked with my mentor Jose, teach him about ecom, and answer whatever questions he had. I even gave him an opportunity to close for my mentorship program despite him not being the greatest closer. Fast-forward to June of last year. He calls me after we hadn't spoken much and tells me he's in a horrible financial situation. He's working multiple jobs, going broke, and struggling to support his mom. He asks me to coach him, offering $10,000 and even saying he'd finance it. I initially declined because I was busy and wasn't offering coaching anymore. Two weeks later, he tells me he's considering getting into black hat ecom. I didn't want to see him go down that route, so I eventually agreed to help him build a store in exchange for 50%, as long as he actually put in the work. Within a few months, we generated multiple seven figures in revenue. His share of the profits was around $500,000. I was genuinely happy for him. Eventually, we ran into Shopify issues and had to pause the product. Around this time, I started noticing his ego getting bigger and the way he carried himself changing, but I didn't think much of it. We tried scaling another product around January, but after roughly six months, it wasn't working. We were losing money, and I had other businesses to focus on. Outside of business, I still helped him whenever I could. I even sold him my Audi R8 for $120,000 when I believed I could've gotten $140,000. I'm only mentioning these things so you understand the kind of relationship we had. Now here's where the bullshit starts. June of this year comes around, and he tells me he's going broke again. He suggests we bring back the original product we'd made all that money with, run it for a month, make some quick cash, and pause it. I agreed. His Facebook profile was banned, so I ended up handling most of the work. But the entire month, something felt off. We barely profited, and it honestly felt like he didn't give a fuck about making it work. Then September 2 comes around, and he wants to pause the store. He tells me he's worried about getting MATCH-listed and thinks the business might be haram. So we stopped. Here's what I ended up discovering later. Based on the evidence and timeline I gathered, he appeared to have been preparing his own operation involving a separate version of that exact product since around July. While we were running it together in August, ads for the other operation appeared to have started in late August. Then, right as that operation seemed to be gaining traction, he wanted to shut ours down. At the time, I knew NONE of this. He'd been telling me he was running a creative agency with his little brother, and I had no reason to question him. Until one day, I randomly asked: "Bro, are you running a store right now?" He said no. I asked, "Wallahi?" He said Wallahi. For anyone who doesn't know, that's swearing by Allah. Another friend of mine was literally there when he said it.

I’m turning 41, but I don’t feel like celebrating. Our generation is running out of time to save the free Internet built for us by our fathers. What was once the promise of the free exchange of information is being turned into the ultimate tool of control. Once-free countries are introducing dystopian measures such as digital IDs (UK), online age checks (Australia), and mass scanning of private messages (EU). Germany is persecuting anyone who dares to criticize officials on the Internet. The UK is imprisoning thousands for their tweets. France is criminally investigating tech leaders who defend freedom and privacy. A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast — while we’re asleep. Our generation risks going down in history as the last one that had freedoms — and allowed them to be taken away. We’ve been fed a lie. We’ve been made to believe that the greatest fight of our generation is to destroy everything our forefathers left us: tradition, privacy, sovereignty, the free market, and free speech. By betraying the legacy of our ancestors, we’ve set ourselves on a path toward self-destruction — moral, intellectual, economic, and ultimately biological. So no, I’m not going to celebrate today. I’m running out of time. WE are running out of time.

The One Way through the Current is always giving and creating Most say "I'd love to give when I had more money" but if you can't even give to your own people anything outside of money what you expect? A friend of mine said laying bricks at the mosque is worth more than donating money and it's true & tied to many other things in life.. Somehow every down time in business has been connected to extended consumption and not appreciating my plate at a table God gave me only to led the way I don't think any of the gifts or blessings I have necessarily mine. As you seen with many guys, it can be taken just as fast as it was given.. You shouldn't pay the extra interest by being ungrateful and thinking it was all you cuz it's hard to repay stuff you can't measure in money On the contrary expansion tied to providing and giving be it better, more or just more often. This applies to products, business just as it applies to your relationships. When facing a similar situation it's good to ask: what am I withholding? What gifts, material/non-material are you holding back from the world because of fear or stagnation Creating and expanding what you already have can never fail you, even if you "have nothing" Money is just a lagging indicator of your identity, skills and the people you surround yourself with

Stop thinking you're stronger than your environment. You're not. If you're surrounded by people pulling you down in discipline, money, relationships... you're naive to think you can save them all. Your environment will drag you down faster than you can lift everyone else up. Literally crabs in a bucket. Too often I see - Founders hanging with broke friends who resent their success - Entrepreneurs trying to be the hero who saves everyone - High performers staying loyal to low performers It's easier to move to a different crowd than to move the crowd. There is some truth to that cringe saying “Your network is your net worth.” Stop wasting energy on people who don't want to change. Start being strategic about who gets access to your energy. Your circle determines your ceiling. Choose wisely.

The hardest voices to ignore are the ones telling you to stop BECAUSE they love you. Your parents don’t see what you see. If they did, there’d be no generational curse to break. To make them proud, you must first disappoint them.

What really smart poor people cant handle is that getting rich has less to do with intellect and creativity and more to do with courage and perseverance. You gotta: Take risk others wont Work while others wait And keep going when others quit That’s about it. Oh - and wait 10yrs

I can't tell you how many times me and my brother told each other we can't handle this business shit anymore. Going -$500k debt, payment/bank blocks, employees fucking us over, important stores going unprofitable for a long time and not understanding why. Taking hours and hours at 3am behind the screen trying to figure it out, still not knowing what the fuck to do. Every single time we kept going, we reached new levels and our wildest dreams we never had came alive. I can assure you that if you go through immense amount of hardship right now that you're very close to figuring it out and it the reward of it will be all worth it. The only thing in life that keeps us relaxed and grounded is the fact that we knew how hard it was to get where we are right now. Most importantly, our parents pray every day for us. How can we lose?
