I built a little macOS app last week.
Whenever I play the ⏯︎ key on my keyboard, it was pretty unexpected what would play.
The music I was listening to 5 minutes ago? The YouTube video in one of 85 tabs I have open? Who knows.

It's absolutely incredible what we can create now.
I would always have this little issue where unpausing using the play/pause key on my keyboard would often choose the wrong thing to resume playing. After the 158th time, I had enough and built something to fix it.
One of the daily annoyances while working away each day is the mac pause/play button.
I pause some music - and moments later, I hit play… and a YouTube video I watched 3 hours earlier and paused comes roaring to life.
So, I did what we do now… built something.

This has a very simple UI to create events and allows visitors to register right from their site. Super easy for non-technical people to use.

I'm working with a not-for-profit org that needed some basic event registrations for their free workshops.
Everything I looked at seemed overly complicated, took users away from their site and still required someone to add an integration into their sites.
I built a thing! A client has a simple website, but they need online workshop signups. With @getturnoutapp, they can manage their free events by pasting 1 line of code into their site. Perfect for the non-technical users.
