Preston is one of the best Roblox developers in the world. Roblox is uniquely positioned to benefit from AI-driven creation. its house style means AI-generated games can feel native to the platform. players don’t care how games are made, just if they’re fun.

Tizzy has some great takes this one is complete nonsense. No player cares if a model was made by AI or a human. The output is what matters not the input. + leaving for FPS is like swapping one red ocean for a bloodier one - expensive, higher entry bar, higher switching cost etc.

When everyone zigs it’s time to zag. Everyone using ai to make models? Great, I’ll keep paying a modeler who makes art. Everyone making simulator clones? Great I’ll make an FPS game with a unique mechanic. Simulator market is about to be crazyyy flooded. Find a way to stand out.

Everyone's saying Roblox devs are cooked because of AI. For decades the tools to make games have gotten easier to use. AI just finished the job. Knowing how to build a game was never been to be a lasting moat. The real question is who captures the value when everyone's using AI?

More Opus 5.5 fuel for the fire. YuGiOh with full rules enforcement + AI opponent + resumeability from arbitrary game state. I thought this would be too much to one shot. Technically two-shot, "Make sure every single that that changes has an animation".

can anyone help me understand what’s going on here? i’ve never seen a scaling pattern like this - every day it ramps up to a peak then slows back down, and the next day it repeats the exact same curve with a ~10–20% uplift #RobloxDev
