Tomorrow we’re in Vienna for DIC, the Digital Investigations Conference by our partner Arina.
Leeor Ben-Peretz, our Chief Strategy Officer, is presenting at 13:40 in the main hall.
His session covers the point where most crypto cases stall, a wallet with no history, and what investigators can do from there, including a walkthrough of a real case.
He’ll also be at our booth all day.
If you’re coming, stop by and say hi.

When North Korean hackers try to scam me, I send them a meeting link with slots only from 8–10pm Korea time.
Gotta qualify the commitment.

When the blockchain trail goes cold, the case shouldn't.
That was the focus of Leeor talk at @INTERPOL_HQ's 5th New Technologies Forum in Vienna.
Our Chief Strategy Officer looked at what investigators can do once on-chain tracing reaches a wallet with no history.
Thank you to INTERPOL's Cyberspace and New Technologies Laboratory for having us.

22 Sept is worth clearing if you work crypto cases.
Digital Experience, Arnhem. Six sessions on crypto tracing alone, plus OSINT and forensics. All in English.

$15B in bitcoin seized. The largest forfeiture in US history. The man it was taken from is still at large.
In pig butchering cases the tracing works. You get within a few hops of the operator's wallet, then it stops.
Finding the money was never the hard part.

The most effective Tornado Cash user isn't the most sophisticated. It's the most patient.
Deposit. Wait weeks. Withdraw into a fresh wallet. Route it onward.
No transaction link. No timing correlation that survives cross-examination. No funding wallet.
Better analytics doesn't fix that. The limit is the protocol.
Untraceable at the protocol. Still visible above it.
↓ Full playbook below.

Tornado Cash isn't under US sanctions anymore.
It's still where the biggest laundering cases go dark.
About a quarter of the Bybit hack funds stayed untraceable through mixers.
That isn't a tooling gap, it's the protocol.
New playbook: working Tornado Cash cases in 2026 ↓

. @ForensicFocus just dropped their Forensics Europe Expo recap, and Spectra made the cut.
"Their platform, Spectra, picks up the trail where on-chain tools run cold."
Clearest version of what we do, and it wasn't us who said it.

If you work crypto cases out of Zurich, Frankfurt or Vienna, this one is for you.
Together with Arina, we have brought off-chain attribution to investigators across the DACH region.
When a case stalls at a mixer or a fresh wallet, Spectra connects that wallet to the entity behind it and turns a dead end into leads and digital evidence.

If your crypto gaming strategy is:
• White-label
• Standard 100% welcome bonus
• Default 35x WR
• AI-generated brand
...you're not building the next @Stake, @shufflecom or @rainbetcom.
You're building casino #537.
Drop the speculative mindset. Think like a gaming operator. Data > hype.

How do you hack a VIP economy with crypto?
A VIP economy is one where <1% of users generate 30%+ of revenue. Think trading, iGaming, or casinos.
Traditionally, operators spend millions trying to create VIPs:
Acquire users → wait for them to spend → identify the few who matter → VIP’em.
Crypto flips the model.
Public blockchain data lets you study existing VIPs: where they trade, gamble, invest, what they buy, and how they move across ecosystems.
So instead of asking:
“How do we turn 100k users into 100 VIPs?”
Ask:
“Where are those 100 VIPs already, and how do we earn them?”
That’s the strategic advantage of crypto data. Instead of optimizing for volume, you optimize for the people who actually drive the business.

Fund trail: solved.
Entity behind the wallet: unsolved.
On-chain forensics traces the money. It does not name who moved it.
That is the gap the whole category keeps hitting.

Two days at Forensics Europe Expo (FEE). Olympia London wrapped last week.
More than 1,500 forensic professionals through the doors.
Sixty-plus exhibitors on the floor.
125 years of forensic science with the Metropolitan Police celebrated in the same building. And in the middle of it, Dan Embury from our team holding the room at booth FE-POD3.
Visitors from more than a dozen countries came to see Spectra in action.
Recovery counsel. Forensics teams. Law enforcement.
The pattern we heard across almost every meeting: the on-chain stack is mature, but the cases that close in 2026 need more than fund tracing. The moment the trail goes cold, the question shifts from where to who. That is where off-chain attribution picks up.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, booked a slot, or walked us through your case.
If we did not get to you on the floor, the conversation is still open. Visit our website.
