Some Haitians have cheered on El Salvadorian troops deployed to fight gangs which have almost taken control of the Haitian capital.
El Salvador’s Bukele promised to wipe out the gangs after four of its citizens were kidnapped.

I once moved to Berlin during a literal heatwave but then left because my German roommates snitched to the landlord that I bought two portable ACs for the flat (living room + my bedroom), arguing about high electricity usage. Even though I said I’d pay more for electricity, they continued to oppress me with their crazy anti-comfort and eco-fascist behaviours and then one day, while it was boiling outside and inside, they blew up on me because I refused to turn the AC off and threatened to call the police over the fight (goofy) 😭 After that, I never had roommates again until my move to Australia a few months ago. I’m so very glad the Aussies aren’t anti-AC.
