the ducal guard stopped abruptly, making sure to keep a distance from his medallion. “ I was, yes. curious to see someone like you here. ”

“ I have my suspicions, but they are mere ideas. ” pausing, she suddenly realised; “ are you the witcher they sent for to aid in the investigation ? ”

careful steps, cautiously watching the witcher’s every move. she wondered what someone like him was up to this time of night.

“ very true, little one. looks can easily deceive. ” she agreed, keeping a safe distance from the witcher and her medallion. “ perhaps you need to fetch your. . . parent? if your kind has that. ”

“ fortunately for you, it is not my uncle that decides if you are a threat. ” it was a difficult decision. she held no desire to imprison the other, for she knew too well how it felt to be different from the norm. “ let’s not cause a scene, shall we? you know I must do this. ”

“ that has yet to be proven. ” the woman let out a dissatisfied huff. “ if you can answer my questions honestly — then you may avoid a scene. firstly ; where are you headed? ”

“ I get by. ” her gaze drifted to their surroundings. exhaustion was creeping in, but there was much work to do yet. “ I take it you are preparing for the tournaments this year ? ”

“ I am done, when I am done. ” the woman replied firmly with a jut of the chin. “ tell me that brings you here. ”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “ you have some nerve showing yourself here, mutt. ” she could smell @lycanisim a mile away ; and she didn’t doubt they possessed the same ability. best not to beat around the bush. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ the brunette stood tall before @knightisim, one hand resting behind her back. “ I’m glad to see the beast has not gotten its claws in you, ser reaver. ” ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ those witchers truly were a pest for someone like her. she’ll be tailing @SCOURGEOFLANDS down the streets. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ another beautiful day in toussaint that made patrolling the streets a pleasure. the peace didn’t last however. for she soon noticed a cheeky child attempting to steal from @CINTRANFLAME. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ on the bustling street, the lieutenant would get in the way of @wraithicbane. “ my, you reek of death. ” ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ another witcher ; weren’t they supposed to be near extinct? nonetheless, she’ll be staring intensely at @clawisim as well. ⠀⠀
