India is the only country where
A hardworking citizen earning an annual salary of 50 Lakhs has to empty their savings and sign a contract of lifelong servitude at the altar of EMIs, just to buy a house which can fit one bed and a sofa
While a bereaucrat in a poor state earning 25 Lakhs per annum, can straight up buy an entire resort.
What is funnier, is that the kids of the same bereaucrat will apply to get into the govt, under the Economically Weaker Section quota, and might even succeed
Finally finished watching #TheBear. First two seasons were great. Next two were slow and even boring at times but glad that they finished it well. Final season is good and the last two episodes especially are brilliant 🤩

And none of the founding fathers had a sense of direction ..... they were under the impression that they had reached India
I don't mean offense to anybody, but none of our founding fathers were Hindu. None of our founding fathers were Muslim, and none of our founding fathers were Jewish. This was built on Christian principles, and we can never forget that.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The claim confuses the Founding Fathers (late 18th century) with Christopher Columbus (1492). Europeans realized by the early 1500s that the Americas were a new continent, not near India or Asia, though the term "Indian" for Native Americans persisted as a misnomer.

Tweets from a #Tamil so-called movie reviewer about #Bengaluru and #Karnataka is a classic case of a person stopping low to an unimaginable level for engagement farming. There is zero understanding of ground reality but when you want to spread hate, you don't bother about it

Stop embarrassing yourself. Bengaluru is a giant. No way such a rule would be passed in the first place. Go read facts. Their office space absorption is 2.5x that of Chennai. The no of GCCs Chennai gets in a year, Bengaluru does that in a month. We barely have real estate players here building IT Parks who many think are some villains and enemies to the city. (Thanks to Tamil cinema).
Thank you @DKShivakumar sir - you will be the reason for many software giants shifting their operations or increasing their team strength in Coimbatore and Chennai .
Your service much needed for Tamilnadu !

One of my colleagues had to face this recently. It took him 5 days and numerous visits to Aadhaar and Jio centres to get it resolved. And it was ultimately Jio who helped him get a replacement sim from offline verification. Folks at Aadhaar centres were useless and had zero empathy, typical of any government office

to that very number. The UIDAI has a workaround, but that’s another bureaucratic maze to navigate. The moot point is, does the added security justify the risk of locking yourself out when you need access the most? Would you still keep your Aadhaar and biometrics locked?
Aditya Kulkarni retweeted
If you lock your Aadhaar & biometrics, God forbid you lose your phone, you could find yourself in a frustrating catch-22 sit. To get a replacement SIM for the number linked to your Aadhaar, you need biometric authentication. But to unlock your biometrics, you need an OTP sent +

Boarding on AI 882 AMD-DEL is delayed by 20 minutes because Supreme Court Judge Vipul Pancholi & wife had to be VIP boarded first. They walk in with a posse of 6 guards + 3 AI staffers. Is this the VIP culture that India’s judiciary advocates? @MLJ_GoI ?

People are travelling like sheep herd from Bidar, Kalaburgi, Yadgir and Raichur to Bangalore. This is everyday story. People are not getting tickets even if they are planning 2 months prior. Run additional trains from Bidar to help these people.

This season was immortalised in the 2013 movie Rush. Quite frankly one of the best sports movies of all time, brilliantly directed by Ron Howard and outstanding portrayals of James Hunt and Niki Lauda by Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl 🙌🏾
Today is 50 years to the day since James Hunt's F1 title win 🏆
The 1976 season is fondly celebrated as one of the greatest in history, due to Hunt and Niki Lauda's fierce title fight
