Looks like Elon Musk fired the entire curation team.
These were the folks who tackled misinfo, contextualized conversations via the 'Explore' page, and helped make Twitter an unmatched source for breaking news.
This will make Twitter noisier, more dangerous & less interesting

Our team at 01 Advisors put together this community a couple weeks ago to help the Twitter Alumni Network stay connected as a large number of folks work to figure out what's next. It's active and productive and has already been a great resource for people

Twitter had such a positive impact on my life. It helped me find my team, friends, love, inspiration. It gave me a place to learn, rant, jokes, share heartbreaks and joys.
Today, I want to express a big thank you to all of the people who worked on making this possible.

I’m so sad and shocked by the incredible people being pushed out of the @twitter ‘s nest. So much amazing talent has gone from the company. @TwitterDesign & @TwitterResearch 🫡

COVID Update: COVID may not be remembered primarily for the full hospitals, unpredictable variants, mask & vaccine controversies, or even the massive loss of life.
It may be thought of primarily as chronic disease affecting 10s of millions. 1/

🧵 (1/8) I want to talk about the crux of Twitter's justification for the toxic culture that was created in the D&R org. "Employees were too nice to give each other critical feedback and so things moved too slow." Not true.

If everyone was learning from global lessons we'd be much better prepared. SYDNEY is in its 4th week of hard lock down and hasn't managed to defeat delta.
Look elsewhere for what's happening, what's worked, what hasn't.
Delta is different from the original strain. +++Spread

Lifting this for the weekday because I think it’s important in a world of variants that vaccines be seen less as shields and more as cushions, and people focus less on avoiding it and more on preparing for contracting it. teapawt.net/couch/status/141685106…

I suspect a lot more vaccinated people are going to be feeling sick, and will be trying to navigate what to do, how to diagnose. Here’s what I did:

Tons of ?s re: if J&J jab-ees should get 2nd shot of mRNA vax. My answer: today, I wouldn't. But I'd be careful (ie, keep masking) 'til we know a) how well J&J stands up to Delta; b) if Delta truly is more severe; c) if strategy of addn'l mRNA is safe & effective. Other thoughts?

After you’re fully vaccinated, the CDC still recommends keeping your mask on, maintaining social distance, decolonizing the curriculum, arresting the cops who killed Breonna Taylor, finding Derek Chauvin guilty, and justice for Daunte Wright. Also: #TransRightsAreHumanRights
