Today we honor the memory of all those we lost on September 11, 2001. May we never forget their stories – and the bravery of our first responders and troops who sacrificed so much.

Great paper here. The information is equally applicable to all structural based manual therapy approaches.

IMO this paper should be read by all clinicians: What does patient centred care look like? Its a partnership. 'I was able to co-create a new narrative that made sense of things in ways that made biological AND biographical sense.' chiromt.biomedcentral.com/ar…

New Brunswick's healthcare system is broken. Don't be fooled by the right or left into thinking they have a magic wand that will fix it. Government, Horizon and Vitalite are to blame. Citizens need to take matters into their own hands and protest in order for things to change.

I've been working as a physiotherapist for 20 years and completed countless post-grad courses and often times the best advice I can give a patient is: "Just keep moving her buddy."

Be sure to book extra time for your new assessments. It's a great opportunity to get to know the person that you're potentially working with. Since the pandemic, many are dealing with psychosocial issues on top of injury. Taking the time to listen and show compassion is vital.

Insurance company denies requests for visits & asks for a re-eval/progress note I write up a template knowing I’ll be seeing the patient next week and I just need to plug in measurements. Front desk accidentally sends it in. Blank. Insurance company: *approves 8 visits*

Technology is causing us to forget how to be ourselves. Do we really know who we are when if we have our face in a screen all day fearing that what we type and say will be misinterpreted or even used to persecute us? Power off and go outside.

Early in pandemic I performed telephone/video consults which I vowed I won't do again. I know they currently still have their role but I think they're being overused. I've learned to appreciate the fascinating interactions I have with patients from all walks of live each day.
