Why not pay Diversified Energy to cap their 61k wells and go buy and cap the next 500k. It's all profit and return for them and helps mitigate a huge environmental issue. What am I missing ?

Dear @EPA, just buy the wells. Plug them properly. Open up enough fed lands to make up the 6% lost, while charging the lessors enough to help cover the cost. Couldn't this be the cheapest path to significant reduction of methane, w the big companies footing the bill
