My go-to move on BASIS is the swap. Deposit native BTC, ETH, SOL or PAXG into the Funding Wallet, hit Swap, and it converts 1:1 by quantity into the matching stToken (BTC → stBTC, etc.).
Fee is only 0.01%, no cross-asset swaps, no surprises. It’s clean, deterministic, and keeps principal accounting simple.
I do it once after every deposit before staking takes seconds and removes any friction between funding and earning. The 1:1 peg is the part I actually trust.
