Roads & bridges in #Louisiana are built & maintained wt only 1 funding source: GAS TAX. @ 20¢ LA is tied for 4th LOWEST gas tax in lower 48 States. 7 states raised their gas taxes effective July 1. It’s been decades since Louisiana did that, as we have lost value in little we pay. The longer it takes = more we need. Wonder why we lag in building & maintaining our infrastructure!
