i've started creating a bunch of Voyage evals with AI agents have to accomplish long horizon objectives in Voyage, things like get 1mil gold, or kill the dragon queen
the stories that happen are genuinely fascinating one agent invested in a truffle farm and negotiated a 6 month recurring contract to sell truffles at a local merchant house,
another bout a 50% stake in a local dwarven iron mine and most heart breaking one agent in trying to fight fire cultist (minions of the dragon queen) carried his almost dead companion on his shoulders, gave him to a friend to nurse back to health with a letter from him then went right back in
"I said I'd fight and I will" he told the character, knowing he would die 😭
in the next playthrough the agent determined not to lose a single party member created a crack party of 7 adventurers include 3 tanks, a healer 2 DPS and a sapper to blow things up
he would do actions like "form a shield wall and crack the door open 3 inches to see what's inside" to maximize team safetiness
a leader we can all aspire to be like
