All India Federation of the Deaf welcomed Shri Virender Singh at MPTCD Premises for honouring with "Padma Shri" for his outstanding performance in the field of sports. The AIFD presented him an Appreciation Certificate and Cash. He also received Arjuna Award earlier in 2017.
