It was a pleasure to host our long-standing donor partner, @cagrameen in #Igatpuri, for the inauguration of a new batch of #skilling students to be trained in masonry and #electrical courses. @WeAreSwades's skilling program adds over INR 30 crores of income per annum to rural households in #Maharashtra. Equipped with #technical and #softskills to create stable and dignified sources of livelihood, these students will join the 4,800+ skilled youth that has been trained under Swades' skilling program supported by implementation partners #udyogwardhini and @LearnetSkills. @MangeshWange @zarinascrewvala #skilling #skillingyouth #electrical #jobready #youthskillsdevelopment #partnershipforchange #csr #nonprofit #ngosofindia #ruralyouth #india #forabettertomorrow #skilledyouth #Udyogwardhini

At @WeAreSwades, we understand the power of shared vision and collaborative effort to drive change. A big shoutout to our donor partners @mintelnews for their support by way of employee donations, #fundraising campaigns, and pre-loved book sales! The proceeds will support our efforts to #empower rural communities. We hope that together, we may touch many more lives in #maharashtra and beyond. #partnerforchange #togetherwecanmakeadifference #foracause #ruralempowerment #fundraisingforacause #villagedevelopment #nonprofits #csr #employeegiving #fundraisers #joinus #likeandshare #latest #trendingnow #Tweet #Tweetoftheday

Lack of opportunities and access to skills forces thousands of youth from the villages to seek employment in the cities as manual laborers. Skilling equips them with a better range of opportunities with fairer compensations, not limited to the entry level. Like Santosh, 4,700+ youth have been trained by @WeAreSwades, with support from #CSR partners and implementation partners such as @LearnetSkills and more recently, @Udyogwardhini3 in courses such as masonry, welding, accounting, hospitality, etc. 3,900+ have been placed in formal employment - 79% have completed over a year at their new job placements. This #YouthSkillingDay, here's a shoutout to all the young men and women who swam against the tide to become proud, empowered individuals in rural India. @WeAreSwades @MangeshWange @shriram_chandak @honeywell @BlueDart_ @HSBC_IN @cagrameen #WYSD #WYSD2023 #YouthEmpowerment #Opportunity #CreatingLeaders #SkilledYouth #YouthofIndia #CSR #Nonprofit #Partnerforchange #Foracause #Forabetterfuture #RuralYouth #Join #Support #share #UdyogwardhiniShikshanSanstha

Many villages in Mahad are still struggling for water, shelter, food & other domestic utilities. We supported the flood-affected villagers with first-aid kits, tarpaulins, solar energy lamps, utensils, candles, bedding. Thank you @iAditiTatkare for motivating the villagers.
