Nah ini menarik. Dulu kalau kesel sama produk, kita cuma bisa ngomel di sosmed.
Sekarang, rasa kesel bisa jadi working product sambil nunggu waktu jemput anak. Jarak antara "ini jelek banget" dan "nih, versi lebih bagusnya" belum pernah sedekat ini.
Weekend hack: HackerTube. I was annoyed with YouTube's recommendations so I had Claude filter down 43M comments over 20 years of HN to 6,454 videos that keep being recommended. *Significantly* better viewing experience, ~2 hours with Opus 5.5:

- Thumbnail is a representative frame from middle of the video instead of the super duper A/B test hyper-optimized user uploads
- Underlying data from the comment analysis as one zip file, point your Claude at it and ask for your own version

A bit more on the process:
I use Claude Code (desktop app for Mac), Opus 5.5 on Medium effort as my default. I only talk to Claude and have it do everything, the only "manual work" I helped with in tandem was in the browser (reminiscent of MenuGen): 1) I had to create some kind of API key from Google Cloud UI to query YouTube for video metadata, 2) I booted up a VPS box for serving and 3) I bought the domain name. Once the box was up I gave Claude the IP and told it update, secure, harden, deploy and optimize the code, and it did the whole thing.
Many awesome projects that would have normally taken weeks/months even can now be few-shotted for breakfast. What else are we not thinking of.

🇮🇩 JUST IN: Bloomberg reported that the Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia, Pandu Sjahrir, indirectly owns 27.5% stake in Supra Sekuritas (SS), which is recently sanctioned by OJK in relation to stock-market manipulation case.

Di IG dan TokTik banyak yang bahas issue PHP tapi jarang yg bahas issue SSL eMudhra, padahal dampaknya bisa jauh lebih luas ini daripada yg PHP.
Ini saya coba buatkan video penjelasan bagaimana issue SSL eMudhra ini bisa sangat berbahaya.

Security called me at 6:12 AM today.
"Patch every PHP server immediately."
I asked what happened.
"Two critical vulnerabilities. Remote code execution. No authentication required."
Cool.
How many PHP servers do we have?
According to inventory: 12
According to reality:
Nobody knows.
We found one running WordPress.
Three running old internal tools.
One under someone's desk.
Two inside vendor appliances.
A forgotten employee directory from 2016.
And a server named:
PHP-OLD-DO-NOT-TOUCH
Naturally, that one runs payroll exports.
Then we found a PHP 5.6 box.
I asked who owned it.
The documentation said:
BRIAN.
Brian left in 2019.
We called Brian.
He said:
"Oh wow, that's still running?"
Excellent.
By 8 AM, leadership joined the incident call.
CEO:
"Can hackers actually get in?"
Security:
"Potentially yes."
CEO:
"Without a password?"
Security:
"Yes."
CEO:
"Then why do WE need passwords?"
Not the lesson.
Finance asked if we could wait until the weekend to patch because downtime affects revenue.
Security explained that the alternative was letting strangers execute code on our servers.
Finance asked for a cost comparison.
At 9:17, someone suggested temporarily taking the vulnerable websites offline.
Marketing refused.
"Our campaign is live."
So for the next hour, the company officially decided maintaining a landing page for 20% off webinar registration was more important than preventing remote server takeover.
We finally patched everything we could find.
Then our scanner discovered another PHP server.

Uptime:
4,512 days.
Nobody knows what it does.
Nobody owns it.
Nobody can shut it down.
But every time we block network access, the warehouse stops printing shipping labels.
Security has classified it as critical infrastructure.
It is running PHP 5.4.
The vulnerability has existed longer than half our employees.
The emergency patch took four hours.
Finding out what PHP actually runs took eleven.
The internet isn't held together with code.
It's held together with servers everyone is afraid to turn off.

Ketua Dewan Ekonomi Nasional (DEN) Luhut Binsar Panjaitan menyebut Presiden Prabowo menyetujui kajian DEN yang menyebut korupsi hanya sebatas praktik suap, tidak meliputi unsur kerugian negara, Selasa (20/10/2026).
Ia mengatakan kajian itu dibuat dengan berlandaskan pada United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) atau Konvensi Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa Melawan Korupsi yang diratifikasi Indonesia lewat Undang-undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2006.
"Presiden juga setuju dengan kajian yang dibuat oleh tim dari Dewan Ekonomi Nasional mengenai definisi korupsi, karena itu penting untuk supaya masalah penanganan korupsi di Indonesia itu berstandar internasional,” kata Luhut di Istana Negara.
Luhut menyebut Indonesia menjadi satu-satunya negara yang memasukkan kerugian keuangan negara ke dalam kategori korupsi.
Menurutnya, penerapan unsur kerugian keuangan negara dalam suatu tindak pidana korupsi memberatkan sektor bisnis, tak terkecuali BPI Danantara yang membawahi BUMN-BUMN di Indonesia.

Saya sempat coba pake SPSS versi dan coba membandingkan apakah di R atau bahkan di Excel juga bisa melakukan hal yang sama atau tidak.
Btw, di Excel Add-ins namanya Analytics Toolpak, jadi bisa itung2an statistik dari situ.
