Students sharing their name projects...we learned all about how we got our names, who named us, and what our names mean! We also practiced how to present to an audience. @HumbleISD_HE
The share portion of writer's workshop is often skipped, but not @HumbleISD_HE ! 😉
Authors coming alive! I've never had a class so moved to write because if you're done with a book and one of the first 2-3 students to clean up from Writer's Workshop, you get to share your book! @HumbleISD_HE I really love that they all have the confidence to share, too!

We're learning how to think & act like a scientist. Trying our hands at the "I notice, I wonder, and it reminds me of" strategy while observing melting ice cream. Loved the discussions & their surprises in learning that their predictions aren't always right!@HumbleISD_HE

Ms. Gonzalez is a gifted writing teacher! The excitement and motivation she builds in her student writers is evident year after year. I can't wait to see how much this group grows this year!

Today was presentation day for my amazing Wildcats! We made connections and learned more our identity culture and roots by learning more about our name! Ss interviewed parents,created posters and presented their findings to the class.
