Malabar Jewellery shop in Bilaspur was caught selling 20 carat Gold as 22 carat. That’s an 8% cheating in value. Local jewellers confronted them for losing trust because of their action.
Why do jewellers do this? And the closer you are to them, the more they betray your trust. Our family jeweller for 3 generations had been selling us 14 carat Gold jewellery as 22 carat and we came to know only when Tanishq installed a testing machine in a mall.
