They are going to play in LA next week. He was never going to play in that game.
After years of Spurs fans posting Manu blocking Harden on a late shot clock attempt, this is pretty sweet revenge.
I swear every NFL commentator over the age of 50 gets a bonus when they bash analytics. They can’t wait to say “But what about the emotional component?”
Analytics doesn’t measure that. It’s never pretended to. But the old heads can’t handle nuance.
Have they announced the punishments for Indiana and Cincinnati yet for playing Brendan Sorsby despite his gambling habits on their campuses?
Hitting the Siu against Portugal is pretty cool. If only it had been in Portugal. Maximize the pettiness.
This isn’t the People’s Elbow. If he wants to avoid the fine, I wanna see the entire setup and finish.
#Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase says the NFL fined him this week for doing the "peoples elbow" after his TD on Sunday.
"This is where the superstars have to get in with NFLPA and fight for our money. I'm getting fined for an elbow. ... It's a wresting move."
Again, where was this when the Astros stuff happened?

I wish the Chiefs had a receiver that could catch a pass on third down. Must be nice.
The Colts are good, unfortunately.
Super interesting that as an Astros fan no one ever felt bad for me but when it’s Los Angeles fans we should feel sympathy for them.
Paul Scheer (@paulscheer) had his phone buzzing earlier this week, people letting him know he'd again been cast in the perfect role -- Embarrassed Clippers Fan. @LawMurray and I reached out to the other people punished here - the fans nytimes.com/athletic/7563841…
Aka “I did this for sure, but we agreed to a lesser fine so I wouldn’t appeal and drag this out even longer.”
Kawhi Leonard, through his new agent, Harrison Gaines, issues statement:
“Integrity and respect for this game are fundamental to who I am. I accept full responsibility for lapses in judgment by people within my inner circle and regret the distraction this situation has caused the fans and my family.
I entered into my contract with the Clippers as well as the agreements in question in good faith, fully committed to fulfilling my obligations and with no knowledge of any intent on anyone's part to circumvent the salary cap.
For 15 years, my priority has been giving everything to my family, the game, and those I share the court with. As I return to Toronto, I am focused on what I can control, closing this chapter, and moving forward with a clean slate."
Never thought Silver would pull the trigger.
BREAKING: The NBA has ruled on the Los Angeles Clippers in for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard after yearlong probe -- stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker, sources tell ESPN.
Kawhi Leonard will have to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits by the Clippers for his uncle and former business rep, Dennis Robertson. No contract void or suspension for Leonard. And Robertson -- who was fired by Leonard in June -- is being banned by the NBA from all business dealings.
