Today, I’m proud to share something we’ve been building for months - Artham, India’s first Small Language Model (SLM) built exclusively for Indian Capital Markets. We unveiled it at AWS re:Invent 2025 in Las Vegas, marking a defining milestone for India, AI, and Raise on the world stage. 🚀 This isn’t just a product launch. It’s a statement that India no longer has to rely on global AI models that were never designed to understand the depth, nuance, and realities of our markets. We can and we will build for ourselves. Artham is shaped by the realities of Indian markets — SEBI’s rulebook, NSE & BSE dynamics, corporate filings, trading cycles, investor sentiment, and the everyday language of Indian finance. Every layer is grounded in local context, built to serve Indian participants, not global assumptions. This isn’t a “global model adapted for India.” Built in India. Hosted in India. Built for India. 🇮🇳 This is a model born from India’s capital markets. At Raise Financial Services, we’ve always believed that true financial empowerment cannot come from imported solutions. It must be created on-ground, in-context, with an Indian-first mindset. Artham is our step towards making Indian finance more intelligent, more relevant, and more accessible for retail investors, traders, institutions, and the next generation of market participants. Behind this launch is a team that stayed obsessed with one thing: relevance. Relevance to the Indian investor. Relevance to the Indian market cycle. Relevance to India’s financial future. This isn’t a concept or a test model. Artham is already live in production for millions of users: • @ask_fuzz (AI research) • ScanX (markets insights) • @DhanHQ (trading and investing) Proud of our team. Proud of our mission. Proud to build for India. 🇮🇳 @bankonbasak @awscloud @AWSCloudIndia #AWSreInvent2025

Launch #2 I'm excited about today: STRANDS TYPESCRIPT SDK These days, coding agents generate most of my code, even AI agent code. Typescript outperforms Python for agentic coding: early compiler errors speed up iteration. Bring on the Typescript agents! github.com/strands-agents/sd…

What excites me most about this era of AI isn't just the technology itself, but what it enables: faster iteration, more reliable agents, and AI that is accessible to everyone (no PhD required). Hearing from customers like @blueorigin and @Vercel reminds me why we do this work and makes me optimistic about the possibilities ahead. Thank you William Brennan and Guillermo Rauch for sharing your business transformation stories with us. Also glad to have Byron Cook on stage to dive in to automated reasoning, which makes agents more trustworthy, and Colleen Aubrey, who double clicked on the power of intelligent agentic teammates. Here's a breakdown of the news from #AWSreInvent this morning... (1/2)

Thrilled about the launch of @kirodotdev autonomous agent 1) coding agent keeps going when your laptop is off (or like me, when you don't have good internet access during ferry commute) 2) works across repos. You don't need to adopt monorepos to be effective with coding agents!

Made to the keynote at #AWSreInvent this morning. There are 60,000+ people attending #reinvent this year. I always try my best to be at keynotes in person, that way you can assess the reactions to the announcements real-time 😊. We (analysts) are briefed on what will be announced today but there’s always an element of surprise. Let’s do this! @awsevents @furrier @dvellante @craw

Really enjoyed Matt’s keynote at #AWSreInvent today. So much innovation happening in @awscloud, and you could see it with the array of launches he unveiled. So many parts of the keynote worth watching, but will point to a few: 1/ Excited about the availability of Trainium3. Trainium2 has substantial traction, is a multi-billion-dollar revenue run rate business, has 1M+ chips in production, and 100K+ companies using it as the majority of Bedrock usage today. Trainium2 has price-performance advantages over other GPU options that are compelling, and Trainium3 will deliver at least 4.4x more compute performance, 4x greater energy efficiency, and almost 4x more memory bandwidth than Trainium2: youtu.be/q3Sb9PemsSo?si=0rVn… 2/ Worth double clicking on AgentCore, which has changed the security and scalability of deploying agents into production. AgentCore is a set of flexible building blocks that can be used in any combination developers want, and AWS added two more in Policy and Evaluations. AgentCore has a lot of momentum: youtu.be/q3Sb9PemsSo?si=0Qj1… 3/ Nova Forge is a game-changer for companies wanting to customize a frontier model with their own proprietary data. Like equipping a young person with a better knowledge foundation to keep learning, LLMs are better able to solve problems and improve if they’re trained early on with companies’ differentiated data. To do so, companies need earlier versions of the frontier model and ability to mix their own data with the model’s data. This is what Forge provides and this “open training” allows companies to develop Novellas that are their own, optimized versions of Nova they can use for their AI apps and agents. Customers have been itching for this sort of capability, and Forge is a uniquely compelling approach: youtu.be/q3Sb9PemsSo?si=S0CJ… 4/ Agents will become the primary way companies get value from AI. We have built some compelling agents for our customers in Kiro (for coding), Quick (for knowledge workers to leverage their own data, analytics, and routines), Transform (to migrate from one software source to another), and Connect (call center agents). But there are tasks customers want agents to solve more autonomously and over longer durations, and new AWS frontier agents—Kiro autonomous agent, AWS DevOps Agent, and AWS Security Agent—are exciting: youtu.be/q3Sb9PemsSo?si=R95D… 5/ Finally, I enjoyed Matt’s ending 25 launches in 10 mins, both because it was action-packed and represented so much useful delivery. The reason so many people cheered these launches is because even though they’re less sexy, they’re the meat and potatoes core infrastructure needs customers have—and with so much of the total cloud infrastructure running on top of AWS, these launches will make a lot of people’s lives easier and better every day: youtu.be/q3Sb9PemsSo?si=Gusf… Enjoy (and just day 1 of announcements today for AWS :-)!

🚀 Today, we announced frontier agents, a new class of AI agents which are a step-function change in what you can do with agents. Our first three agents mark the beginning of a new era in software development: 🟠 Kiro autonomous agent maintains persistent context and learns over time while working independently, so you can focus on your biggest priorities. It can handle a range of tasks—from triaging bugs to improving code coverage—with a single change spanning multiple repositories. 🟠 AWS Security Agent is your virtual security engineer that helps build secure applications by being a security consultant for app design, code reviews, and penetration testing. 🟠 AWS DevOps Agent is your virtual operations team member that helps resolve and proactively prevent incidents. It is on call when incidents happen, instantly responding to issues and using its knowledge of your application and the relationship between components to find the root ause of the problem. We started the morning here at #AWSreInvent with a keynote from Matt Garman. Great to see the impact AI agents are having on organizations across every industry. @awscloud is building the foundation for billions of agents and pushing past what’s possible with infrastructure and inventing new building blocks for customers. Really excited for how Frontier Agents will transform software development (I’ll break this down in a different post today). Took some quick notes on the important news from Matt’s talk this morning, here’s my recap:
