It’s so interesting (derogatory) that in this uproar around time, they didn’t report that Dr T was the first candidate to arrive, they didn’t report how late everyone else arrived, but had extremely catty reporting when she left at the time she said she would?

APOLOGY | IOL would like to extend a formal apology to the EFF Joburg mayoral candidate @drtlaleng Mofokeng for an incorrectly worded caption published last night during the IOL Town Hall Discussion at the Joburg Theatre. Dr Mofokeng did indeed indicate to the moderator, IOL deputy editor Lee Rondganger, that she would leave at 6pm as she had prior commitments, and this was accepted. However, this was unknown to the social media team covering the event, leading to the unfortunate caption that was published. IOL immediately removed the posts once the matter was clarified during a debriefing session.
We apologize once more to Dr Mofokeng and the EFF.

🚨 NEW: The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a request with the U.S. Dept of Justice to investigate, arrest, and prosecute Sean Glass, who is currently in the United States.
Glass commanded the Israeli unit who fatally shot 5-year-old Hind Rajab.
He’s in the U.S. walking free.
