Allen Control Systems has raised a $200M Series B led by Smash Capital, with participation from @craft_ventures, @rallyvc, and @InspiredCap.
Low-cost drones are reshaping modern conflict, and the demand for proven counter-drone defense is accelerating. This funding enables us to scale Bullfrog, the most trusted kinetic solution built for the U.S. military and allied partners worldwide.
We're hiring across manufacturing, engineering, and operations to scale the next generation of counter-drone defense.
Scenes from our recent celebration marking the opening of ACS’s new 191,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in North Austin.
A major milestone as we expand our manufacturing capacity and scale production to meet the growing demand for counter-drone defense.
Bullfrog in testing on the range.
Defending against drone threats requires the ability to detect, track, and defeat targets quickly and accurately.
Bullfrog brings that capability to the battlefield, delivering autonomous, precision defense against aerial and ground threats.

Shooting drones out of the sky with precision is an incredibly difficult engineering problem.
It requires advanced computer vision, precise control systems, and eliminating sources of error.
Scott Hutchins and Luke Allen explain what makes @allencontrol special: solving that problem with Bullfrog.

At xTech Overwatch Pegasus Charge III, Overland AI's autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs) supported the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment across a multi-vendor exercise. ULTRA carried ISR, ACS Bullfrog counter-UAS, and NanTrak electronic warfare payloads.
Soldiers trained on our systems, took them into the field, and gave us their honest feedback. Everything we build at Overland AI is informed directly by the warfighter.
Thank you to 2-8 CAV, and to our partners at ACS and NanTrak.
That’s a wrap on AUSA 2026!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see Bullfrog and talk with our team about the evolving drone threat and the need for reliable, affordable counter-UAS defense.
Special thank you to all of our partners at the event:

Save the date for our next Austin Engineering Happy Hour: Fri. Oct. 16th @ Easy Tiger, 5:30pm - 8:30pm.
Complimentary refreshments will be available while supplies last. All engineers welcome. RSVP via the link in the comments.
See you there!
Our co-founder and CTO Luke Allen got on the sticks to fly against his own Control Systems. Bullfrog vanquished him.
Over the next few weeks, we're at two major defense industry conferences: SEECAT 2026 in Tokyo, Japan, and AUSA 2026 in Washington, D.C.
If you'd like to meet our team or see the next generation of AI and robotics in defense tech at these events, reach out and let us know!

Hot news:
If you're a qualified purchaser, you can actually buy yourself a Bullfrog, RIGHT NOW, from cuas.mil
In the words of President Trump last week, Bullfrog is "unbelievable."
It's now available for procurement on JIATF 401 CUAS Marketplace.
Last week, ACS announced the opening of an engineering office in Silicon Valley to strengthen our existing team of world-class engineers designing, building, and deploying mission-critical systems to defeat hostile drones.

To build the Arsenal of Freedom, American companies must move fast—and move at scale.
Thankfully, the patriots of Austin, Texas, have answered the call.
AMERICAN WORKERS. AMERICAN MADE.
ACS is among 20 industry participants in Falcon Peak 26.2, a U.S. Northern Command and Joint Interagency Task Force 401 counter-drone experiment at Yuma Proving Ground targeting the complex challenges unique to the U.S. southern border.
The drone threat will continue to evolve, and ACS is ready to meet it.

This week marked a major expansion for ACS as we rapidly scale production of our Bullfrog autonomous weapon station with a new 191,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas.
The expansion reflects ACS's continued investment in building the domestic industrial capacity and skilled workforce required to produce next-generation defense systems at scale.
The drone threat isn't slowing down. Neither are we. This week we announced a new 191,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas to rapidly scale production of Bullfrog and meet the accelerating demand from U.S. and allied nations.
The U.S. and allied nations have sent us a clear message: they need Bullfrog to safeguard U.S. and allied forces and critical infrastructure from this omnipresent threat, now. We’re building the production capacity so Bullfrog is at the ready when and where it is needed most, and we’re proud to do our part to support the reindustrialization of American manufacturing in the process.
