Bottom of Shields Rd Byker on the line of the wall. I think it’s from a short film made a few years ago called “Gannin alang the wall”

ALT Brightly colored flyer featuring pictures of an archaeological dig. At the top it says, "Bamburgh Castle's Lost Medieval Well...FOUND." At the center is a green text box that has the details: "Join us! We are an archaeological field school open to students and the public! No experience needed; you will be taught by professional archaeologists how to dig, handle finds, and more! Bamburgh Castle, 29 June to 18 July. https://bamburghresearchproject.co.uk/"

Fully agree. Recycling is a possibility, but IF it has happened, then probably after many cycles of reuse. We can say that on the basis of all the mixed sizes among the stones

The size of the stone and location mean recycling from the wall is a definite possibility. The stone marks I don't think can be attributed to being specifically Roman so may well be Roman but cannot be certain. Finding more (archival) history of this wall could refine that view
