I even remember noticing something similar in South America over 15 years ago. Israelis were exceptionally aggro with people. There are even Israeli only/Israeli focused hostels all down the usual backpacking routes throughout South America.

This obviously wasn’t every Israeli there are some I met that were pretty chill, but Israelis in big groups were known throughout that route of hostels everyone stays in for causing fights and talking like dickheads to people.
