Car traffic should detour using #RooseveltBridge which has a 5-ton vehicle weight restriction. Vehicles over 5 tons should detour using I-95, @FloridaTurnpike or SR A1A. Tolls remain suspended on the Turnpike for vehicles with 3+ axles between Monterey Rd and Port St. Lucie Blvd.

The #RooseveltBridge repair contractor will close Dixie Highway under Roosevelt Bridge in @CityofStuartFL from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, September 18-20 to facilitate ongoing repair work. It is necessary to close Dixie Hwy to perform this work safely.

#RooseveltBridge will be closing at approximately 9 p.m. today to allow law enforcement monitoring the bridge to seek shelter from Hurricane Isaias. The bridge will reopen tomorrow when tropical storm-force winds have subsided. More updates to follow.
