Didn't you notice? Marcos Jr's downard spiral began when he betrayed President Duterte and abducted him to be judged by foreign powers at The Hague. Marcos will never be able to turn this around because his political capital, trust and support were all borrowed from Sara Duterte.

Anne Curtis overlooks the fact that the Philippines, for all its flaws, is exactly what made her a star. Singapore’s economy thrives bcoz its workforce is saturated with technically skilled professionals over media personalities and entertainment “icons”. In such a high brow, knowledge-based society, a career built on the Filipino “star quality” likely would not have flourished. Her success is a product of the very system she finds frustrating.
