One thing traders need to understand is that 50x leverage is an option, not a target.
A 2% move against your position can wipe you out at 50x, and the market doesn’t care how confident you are.
I believe good trading is not about using the highest leverage available. It’s about knowing your entry, managing your risk, and staying in the game long enough to learn and grow.
Sometimes, using less leverage is what keeps you alive for the next opportunity.
Maximum leverage is not a target. It's a ceiling.
The fact that a platform offers 50x doesn't mean 50x is ever the right size.
Most professionals operate at a fraction of available leverage, not because they're conservative, but because they've done the math on what a 2% adverse move does to a 50x position.
Leverage is a tool.
Using only the maximum setting doesn't make you more of a trader. It makes you less of one.
