An Atlanta influencer known for flaunting luxury cars, private jets, and stacks of cash online is now facing federal charges over an alleged $4 million food stamp fraud scheme. Shawty Dred, whose real name is Mercedes Reshard New, was indicted on 63 counts after prosecutors say he used stolen identities to create more than 350 fraudulent SNAP accounts and divert benefits through EBT cards and a business he owned.
