Announcing Roadside Portraits, a new series of works exploring the melancholic undertones of ordinary landscapes. I’ve been quietly creating these pieces for months and now I’m excited to share them with the world. They combine digital painting techniques with matter-of-fact annotations to capture uncanny moments within everyday life. All eight works in the series are open for minting February 27 – March 5 (links in first comment). Collectors who acquire the full set of works will receive an airdropped token, which can be redeemed for a 1/1 work in the future (see below). To help spread the word, I’ll send a few editions to someone who retweets this post. Read on to learn more about the mechanics of the 1/1 airdrop token and the ideas that inspired the series.

To celebrate tomorrow’s launch of Cul-de-Sacs, I’m doing a pre-mint giveaway! Two people who like/retweet this thread will be selected to receive an edition of my piece, “Curve Ahead.” Cul-de-Sacs is a fully-coded generative project exploring the tension between suburban sprawl and rural ways of life. The algorithm generates scenes that anachronistically appropriate stylistic techniques from traditional folk art to reframe ordinary landscapes as sites for poetic discovery. Minting opens tomorrow (December 12) at 1pm EST (10am PST). This project is historic because it will be the first ever generative art mint on Foundation! Mint Details Format: Dutch Auction (with Rebate) Release Date/Time: December 12, 1pm EST Price: .2 ETH (starting price) - .05 ETH (resting price) Collection Size: 200 (max)
