1) @seahorse_lang, a framework for writing @solana programs in python, built on @anchorlang 👋
let's onboard the next 1 million devs ❤️

At the end of the day, learning to develop on @Solana has two main hurdles:
1. Solana Acccount Model
2. Rust + Anchor
Removing one of these hindrances opens Solana to a whole spectrum of developers
@seahorse_lang🐍 will have its tensorflow / pytorch moment
want to get hands-on rust dev experience?
come contribute to @seahorse_lang compiler!!😄 there are lots of bite-sized issues available looking for contributors.

thank you everyone for all of the support for @seahorse_lang recently ❤️
huge shoutout to @SuperteamDAO for bringing in so many community members and builders 😄
great work by @denimcodes!!
he built a full implementation for a constant product AMM in @seahorse_lang 🤯😀
First build of the year for Solana. 🙌🏼
A sample program of constant product AMM built with @seahorse_lang.

Seahorse makes it incredibly easy to write smart contracts on Solana with Python language. 🤩
gm 👋
question: have you ever wanted to develop smart contracts on solana but never ended up following through?
what were your reasons?
ex: was the learning curve too steep, was there a lack of educational materials?
please dm/reply, i would love to know your story :)
more languages to drive mass adoption on @solana :D

cool fact: in the last 6 months, we've shipped 14 new versions for @seahorse_lang 🚀🚀🚀
i can't forget to give a huge thanks to @callum_codes for being a major contributor 😀

any tips for getting more involved in the nft community on solana? 🙂
i would love to meet community members and see how i can help with on-chain development
1) solana development beyond rust 💻
i believe that blockchains must support multiple languages to onboard the next wave of web3 devs
4) by expanding the number of languages that solana programs can be developed in, more devs can join the ecosystem and build cool new things
for some a lot of cases, developer efficiency is important.
besides, not all contracts will be holding millions of dollars in them 😛
4) lastly, smart contracts can still be type safe in languages like python!
@seahorse_lang compiles to rust so it inherits rust's type safety - more on this in another thread ❤️
this is amazing! ❤️
We just built a platform (@_cubik) for public good on @Solana to raise funds using various Quadratic Funding methods at the Sandstorm hackathon organised by @LamportDAO & @heliuslabs
Check out the demo video here: youtu.be/whW07gOuDNk
here are some great introductory materials by @SuperteamDAO for getting started with @seahorse_lang! 😀

it's so incredible to see everyone building for the sandstorm hackathon @LamportDAO @mert❤️
i love that there are so many diverse hackathon tracks expanding the use cases for blockchain.
if you're interested in using python for your project, check out @seahorse_lang ! 🌊
5) tons of progress has been made since my last seahorse thread
we've had 14 releases and amazing contributions by @callum_codes @acheroncrypto @orvioconge + others
none of this would be possible without @armaniferrante @toly @rajgokal
