NEW WORK: Thundergong! 2023 “We are the music makers, we are the dreamers of dreams” Year 7 is a wrap! I went for a pinball vibe for the branding - touching everything from copy (ie, high score=fundraising goals) to merch and even our kickoff song, which was "Pinball Wizard”.

These are the prints that came out of last year’s typography class. We really got after it in this 2 day workshop. And what better content to use than Sister Corita Kent’s rules for Immaculate Heart College.

Unfortunately a large part of our practice as designers is relatively static — as in we rarely use our bodies to create work. I love starting my type class off at the letterpress. It teaches them the physical properties of typography and gets them moving.
