We're at the start of a golden age of games. It's going to be like what we had in the early days of the web with Flash and sites like Newgrounds but 1000x.
I had Opus cook on 10 ideas of its choosing based on the previous video. Not all of them are bangers, but I was surprised by a couple, and generally blown away this is even possible. You can play them yourself at the link below 👇

Interesting idea. Had tokens to burn so I got Opus to put it to the test
Of course it can. Take all 100,000+ games on steam, scrape their descriptions and metadata, semantically plot them in vector space using embeddings, mathematically choose a location in vector space far away from neighbors, convert that back to a description and metadata, boom, brand new ideas ranked by how unlike any other ideas they are.

Agent-discovered, uncoordinated disclosures won't slow down. Prediction: It'll be socially acceptable for white-hat agents to use recent disclosures to force-upgrade exposed devices soon. They will be doing the public a great service and cleaning up the internet's "tech-debt"

My patience for every UI that existed before mid-2026 has effectively gone to zero. I don't want to use your UI, ever I just want to talk to my agent. It's gotten to that pt where I'm now replacing apps w/ my own version w/ MCP so my agents can operate on the data

Oh yes. Meshes are useless when i can render the entire metropolis of tokyo in a shader compiled into a single HTML file
With everyone busily using LLMs + Blender/Three.js to make 3D models, I thought I'd try a different geometric representation. This dragon isn't a mesh, NeRF, 3DGS, or video model: it's 27kb of GLSL code (generated via LLM), defining a closed-form implicit surface. 🧵 [1/n]

If we're truly entering the singularity, it makes no sense to keep pushing kids through a decades-old curriculum. Rethinking education from the ground up is obviously the right approach & Gagan is one of the best first-principles thinkers in this space.
Today, we’re launching an ambitious new school called The Horowitz Andreessen Academy. Based in San Francisco, The Academy serves the most promising young high school graduates. We think this can be an elite institution that attracts top tier talent. One that prepares students for the future rather than remaining stuck in the past. The #1 goal is to help students learn to build, which is the most important skill in the AI era. They'll learn primarily by pursuing their own projects, either individually or in groups. There are classes and guest lectures, too, from some truly amazing people who have built modern-day Silicon Valley. The Academy is designed as a network, since that’s the reason students go to school in the first place. Core to that network are our 10 Founding Partners: Anduril, Anthropic, Coinbase, Google, Meta, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Palantir, Replit, and Stripe. The network includes over 50 hiring partners and over 200 speakers and mentors. To join as a hiring partner or faculty member, you can apply on our website. We raised $42M in funding led by @a16z. I'll be CEO and @pmarca and @eriktorenberg will join me on the board. Applications are open for our Founding Class Fellowship, which will be one year and tuition-free. Eventually, pending regulatory approval, we plan to offer a two-year program that charges tuition, similar in cost to an elite private university. We're looking for the most unusually ambitious young builders on the planet. Come join us in San Francisco: theacademysf.com/

Hoffman was a 11/10 experience for me. This is an incredibly generous offer from Erik. Strong recommendation to apply and attend if able
I'd like to fund 20 people to go to Hoffman for free. Fill out the application form below to be considered.

Eli Lilly released retatrutide Phase 3 data yesterday. 28% weight loss in 80 weeks. The most powerful obesity drug that’s ever been tested. And today the cancer signal drops. 12,112 patients. Seven tumor types. GLP-1 users had half the lung cancer metastasis rate (10% vs 22%). Breast cancer: 43% cut. Colon cancer five-year mortality in a separate study: 15.5% vs 37.1%. Cancer joins a list that already includes heart disease (SELECT, 20% MACE reduction), kidney failure (FLOW, 24% slower decline), sleep apnea (SURMOUNT-OSA, FDA-approved), addiction (BMJ, 600K veterans, 18-25% reduction across substances), and liver disease (86% fat clearance). Tumors express GLP-1 receptors. Activate them and NF-kB drops, apoptosis rises. The drug isn’t just shrinking fat. It’s talking directly to the cancer. One drug class. Designed for blood sugar. The biology keeps finding uses the designers didn’t predict.

It turns out the real treasure was the agents we made along the way.

So much chatter on optimizing agentic loops. It's a given that anyone who wants top-1 % leverage will soon have it w/ default tools. The edge becomes focusing that leverage on the right ideas through quality thinking & taste.

The reason using AI tools yourself is so important is that it's essentially deliberate practice for refining your thinking to be bolder and clearer. There's no way to outsource this direct experience.

I remember going from compiled code to interpreted code and the meaningful impact on my productivity. That will be nothing compared to going from LLMs with delayed responses to instant responses. The bottleneck will become the speed of human thought & ability to prompt.
Taalas has a hardcoded LLM for inference, 100% on chip delivering peaks of up to 17,000 tokens per second. Replies are so fast you miss them if you blink. Demo out now: chatjimmy.ai/

To make another analogy: this is going from turn-based strategy to real-time strategy. Completely different skillset.

Vibecoding has a Civilization "1-more-turn" quality to it. Wow it's 3am... just 1-more-prompt, though...
