The county wide burn ban has been lifted. If you must burn make sure that you call YCOM Fire line at (503) 472-3344 to determine if it is a burn day. As always we encourage you to use an abundance of caution when burning and make sure to have a hose and some sort of shovel nearby
As a reminder their is currently a burn ban in effect. This means that absolutely no outside burning is allowed until further notice. Small warming fires and outside charcoal grills are permitted as long as safety precautions are taken.
Today Amity Fire District had a special guest for drill. Chris Mills with Fire Rescue Equipment Northwest stopped by to show us some extrication techniques.
