At #MNDEnCouRageUK 2025 we’ve just heard 3 minute lightning talks from the early career researchers 🔬
There was a huge range of #MND #ALS research presented from what's going wrong in cells to improving diagnosis and care!
This shows just how much research is happening across the UK 🗺️
As we approach #globalmndawarenessday tomorrow, I just wanted to share a few thoughts
True Anna style, I tried to record myself but as MND takes over I didn’t think involuntary smiling and laughing was appropriate

Martyn became Anna's full time carer in November 2023 after she was diagnosed with Motor neurone disease.
His carers allowance is £81.90 for 35 hours - he says the job never stops.
