At a hotel in Oslo, they apparently enjoy great Russian litterature supporting the ...eh🧐... cornflakes! 😂

Father in law felt he was no longer going to have any use of his component collection so me and @Tarrow20332365 inherited it...
One of the transistors had a leakage over 350uA so that went in the emitter follower stage. The other was 170uA so was better for the amplifier. Judging from the sound, I think this was a good decision. The finished result has a rustic look and sounds great.
Here's a little recording with @Tarrow20332365 playing through his Marshall... I fitted the fuzz pot wrong so the box is at full fuzz even though it's turned all the way to the left 🙃😎 🎸🎶
#electronics project with @Tarrow20332365: A power supply for an old analog @SoundcraftUK console we bought from a nice guy living nearby. Gave me the opportunity to laying out the stripboard with VeeCAD, like solving a puzzle veecad.com/
One of my very first electronics projects in my teenage years was an 7805 based adjustable power supply built on a stripboard. Now, some 40 years later building this, I'm getting very nostalgic 🤓

Wow.
This is too far*.
I get the guy is heavily invested both emotionally & financially in the @tesla #FSD and I’m sure my #HumanFactors colleagues could take a lot about the decision making / biases / etc.
*yet another “too far” moment.
