Been in VC now for a year. Here’s a few things I’ve learned: 1) it’s actually a sales job 2) mentorship is everything 3) it’s essential to have a tribe 4) founders don’t want offers to be helpful - they want u to be helpful 5) it takes a v long time to know if you’re good
